SAN FRANCISCO — President Obama’s motorcade, 20 vehicles deep, wound through the Highland Park neighborhood Friday in Southern California and stopped at the crest of a small hill. Only the president’s custom black sport-utility vehicle continued, veering up a steeper street until it disappeared.
Somewhere out of the view of reporters, Obama got out and entered a makeshift recording studio in the garage of Marc Maron, host of a popular podcast.
WTF?
That is actually the name of Maron’s show . But it was as good a question as any to ask about why Obama was there to begin with. In Charleston, S.C., community leaders were searching for answers about a shooting that killed nine black Americans at a church two nights earlier. In Highland Park, the leader of the free world was sitting down for an hour-long chat with a comic who describes himself as an “Iggy Pop Woody Allen.”
Down the hill, a crowd had gathered near the president’s entourage, and a man dressed as a clown was juggling bowling pins.
Maron’s interview won’t be posted until Monday, so the public won’t know until then what they discussed. But the mere fact that Obama kept the interview at a time of national trauma highlights a reality of the office of the presidency: Life goes on. . .

Life goes on huh??? These are the same.liberals who roasted Bush over not getting to New Orleans quickly enough after Katrina.
So it seems to me that in the case of a GOP president, he is supposed to change the schedule when there is a national tragedy so as to feel our pain and all that. But in the case of a Democrat president, doing business as usual somehow reassures the nation that life goes on.
This article should have a barf alert and be flagged for pointing out liberal double standards.

The killings were explicitly racial in nature and he also wounded 19 White and Asian people. Police found pieces of notebook paper in Ferguson’s pockets with scribbled notes with the heading “reasons for this”. One of the notes referred to “racism by Caucasians and Uncle Tom Negroes”. They included a reference to “the false allegations against me by the filthy Caucasian racist female on the #1 line”. Colin boarded an outbound Train to Conneticut so he wouldn’t embarrass Black NYC Mayor David Dinkins.
#2. JOHN MOHAMMAD and LEE BOYD MALVO : Kills 10 Whites and Wounds 3
In 2002 the DC sniper JOHN MOHAMMAD and his trusty sidekick LEE BOYD MALVO killed 10 and wounded 3 . Malvo testified in Court , that Muhammad, driven by hatred of America because of its “slavery, hypocrisy and foreign policy” and his belief that “the white man is the devil”, planned to kill six whites a day for 30 days.
#3. CLIFTON MCCREE : Killed 5 Whites and wounded a sixth , February 9, 1996
Cliftons suicide note stated that he did the killing : “to punish some of the cowardly, racist devils” At 5:00 AM on February 9, 1996, Clifton returned to a temporary trailer office a block from the beach and systematically started firing on the beach cleaning crew he once worked with as they sat around a table preparing for work. McCree entered the trailer carrying a .9 mm semi-automatic handgun and said: “Everyone is going to die.”
#4. OMAR THORTON – Aug 5, 2010 Kills 8 Whites and Wounds 2 more :
Below is Thortons explanation to the Police Dispatch before he shot himself
“….Thornton: I’m in the building. Uh, you probably want to know the reason why I shot this place up. This place here is a racist place.
Dispatcher: Yup, I understand that
Thornton: They treat me bad over here, and they treat all the other black employees bad over here too, so I just take it into my own hands and I handled the problem — I wish I coulda got more of the people…”
#5. LA Riots : If you take the time to view the helicopter footage of the corner of Florence and Normandie, you will see a crowd of hundreds standing on the corner and hooting and clapping as 4 Black Males throw cinder blocks as hard as they can on the head of unconscious Truck driver, Reginald Denny. Amazingly, Denny was able to crawl back in his cab but could not manage to drive the truck and a lone Black person helped him drive away. . 53-59 people lost their lives in those riots. Youtube videos also show sickening footage of Black men standing in that intersection and pulling White and /Asian drivers from their cares and viciously beating senseless – the terrified drivers and stealing items from their cars.
Because he doesn’t care about the loss of 9 innocent human lives, that’s why.
We all know why. He doesn’t care.
The media fall on their knees before him, and his Cult applaud his every move.

I agree generally with the above statement but strongly disagree that the “essential” priorities include fundraising, reinforcing his ego in hobnobbing with celebrities and golf. Obama and his Rev Wright seem rather distant from the nine Christians killed in Charleston.
Its not shocking leftists lack compassion. Its why they make an icon from Che who ruthlessly killed hundreds, children too.
