ORANGE, N.J. (AP) — Prosecutors say a man armed with a knife was shot and seriously wounded by two police officers after he lunged at one of the officers.
The two officers also suffered undisclosed injuries in the confrontation, which occurred Saturday morning in Orange....

You said it. Thanks to Holder and his buddy, Obama - it’s open season on the cops. Yes, there are some who are out of line - but, they aren’t the norm. And, people wonder why the cops are quick on the trigger? It’s either kill or be killed. People are nuts if they think cops aren’t going to shoot them when confronted.
I grew up in the East Orange, Orange area. I will not even drive through there anymore. It is as bad or worse than Newark where I was born.
I’m curious if this is a ballooning epidemic or a matter of increased reporting.
That’s the second knife attack I read about this week. Neither ended well for the attacker, I’m glad to say.
I wish a repub candidate would just say the truth about these people who commit these crimes.
You simply can't, if "these people" happen to belong to a protected group.
If you do, the press will quickly eviscerate you.
Only white males can be evil, these days. And if they're cops, their lives don't matter anymore.

If it turns out that the victim was white.. well, OK. At least the race-grievance industry and the Obama-Holder demagogues have another white-cops-shoot-black-man headline.
If they were in the right, I hope the cops only suffered powder burns.

I’ve got a hunch the “middle aged man” was white and so were the cops. We KNOW that if it was a black guy the word “black” would have been in the first sentence. But since they didn’t mention the race of anyone involved....
What a shame...we won't see the obligatory "he was always a good boy" stories and learn how he was "thinking about turning his life around" and "going to go to barber school"
In Orange NJ there was a good chance everyone involved was black - another scenario when race isn’t mentioned. When neighborhoods fall in NJ, it is very fast - we don’t have “mixed” neighborhoods.
Sadly, many on FR would agree with you. . .
