They took the county to the left - with work, effort and planning. And we can take the country to the right - with work, effort and planning.

Here’s the advantage we have - we actually have the American people with us. They did it with tricks and illusions.

The communist goals were entered into the Congressional record by Albert Herlong, Jr. (a Floridian who served in Congress from 1949-69).

1) US acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2) US willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3) Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the US would be a demonstration of “moral strength.”

4) Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5) Extension of long term loans to Russia and Soviet Satellites.

6) Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7) Grant recognition of Red China, and admission of Red China to the UN.

8) Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of
Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the Germany question by free elections under supervision of the UN.

9) Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the US has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10) Allow all Soviet Satellites individual representation in the UN.

11) Promote the UN as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is
rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the UN as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo).

12) Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13) Do away with loyalty oaths.

14) Continue giving Russia access to the US Patent Office.

15) Capture one or both of the political parties in the US.

16) Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17) Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism, and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in text books.

18) Gain control of all student newspapers.

19) Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20) Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

21) Gain control of key positions in radio, TV & motion pictures.

22) Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings,” substitute shapeless, awkward, and meaningless forms.

23) Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

24) Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

25) Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography, and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.

26) Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as “normal, natural, and healthy.”

27) Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”

28) Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

29) Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30) Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man”.

31) Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of “the big picture”: Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took
over.

32) Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture - - education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33) Eliminate all laws or procedures, which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34) Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35) Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36) Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37) Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38) Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat.

39) Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40) Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41) Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42) Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special interest groups should rise up and make a “united force” to solve economic, political, or social problems.

43) Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44) Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45) Repeal the Connally Reservation so the US can not prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.

...we actually have the American people with us...

I fear than the majority of American are not in our camp. The reeducation has had a profound affect on the young people. My youngest brother is a rank liberal. It isn't possible for me to converse with him without him resorting to voluminous vulgar diatribe against me and conservatives. He isn't rational, and he is typical.

I am not sure today's Patriots have the will, courage, and stamina to do what is necessary to right this situation. Repairs cannot be accomplished through the political process.

“America’s Mein Kampf is only three pages long and very few have or will read it.”

Unless there is an episode on Family Guy, South Park or Spongebob explaining it to them, they’ll never get it.

We’re on our own folks. The GOP is part of the treason.

People who ‘feel’ - as opposed to people who ‘think’ - are easy to move from one position to another. They follow the crowd.

Many years ago - for reasons I can't remember now - I became interested in reading newspaper editorial opinions ‘prior to and leading up’ to the civil war... What I took away from that was amazement - public opinion can change on a dime. And no one involved really notices while it's happening...

We got to this spot in history - we can get to a different spot. There's a good chance your younger brother moves in-step with whatever the fashionable ideas of the moment are... When you talk to him he hits you with ‘slogans’, right? If so, he's part of the ‘in’ crowd...the mob. That type of allegiance really and truly can change on a dime. On the other hand if he defends his positions, has thought them out etc... it would be rougher...

Unfurtunately it doesn't work that way. Liberty can be destroyed one small step at a time but it cannot be restored that way.

An article V convention is the only option outside of brute force.

The Democrat Party is a group of varied organizations held together by the belief in each group that they control the other groups in the Party.

I.e. Homosexual’s, unions, billionaires, college faculty, ethnic groups, feminists, abortion supporters, environmentalists, etc....

The throat-cutters, the real communists, will walk the other groups out to the killing fields if they take over.

“Here’s the advantage we have - we actually have the American people with us. They did it with tricks and illusions.”

I respectfully disagree. I wish with all my heart that you were right but it’s not so. The American people are the sole reason that we find ourselves in this mess. Our youth; have no idea what freedom is. They have never experienced it or been taught about it in school. They have all been indoctrinated into Socialism. Another huge segment(47% and rising)is living off the government’s dole and are not about to do anything or oppose anything that might make them lose it. On top of that, they are so dumbed down as to civic responsibility; they wouldn’t know how if they wanted to.

Another huge segment is not American, has no interest, blood, effort or allegance other than personal and material gain in America’s well being and freedoms. Obama is importing as many of these as he possibly can because they are the most useful to his agenda.

That leaves a comparative handful of mostly aging, fiercely loyal, unorganized patriots who will no doubt die fighting for an America that doesn’t exist anymore except in their hearts and memories. Other nations that have been threatened as we are today had strong allies(the strongest of which was us.) We have none. Besides; we are feeding the opposing enemy within with our own sustenance every day in the form of exhorbitant taxes to feed the oppossing army. It’s a no win situation.

I take heart from my faith; not in people but in G-d. He caused a guide book to be written for us that love and serve him that pretty much fortells all of present day events. America prospered and thrived as long as we gave him the credit. It began to fail when we forgot.

I truly hope that we have time to mend our nation and that your optimmism is rewarded. I would love to be wrong.

How then, pray tell, did the Democrats lose over a thousand races for elective office in 2014?

I realize it's become fashionable at Free Republic to fall on one's knees and surrender to the horde, but we really aren't doomed. Not even close.

In fact, the country is more akin to an enormous prairie of bone dry grass, just waiting for the right spark to touch off a conflagration that no power on earth can extinguish.

Don't trust anyone under thirty.

I know at least 3 people over the age of 30 who are bat shit crazy leftists. They've never had a real job in their lives, but they continue to live in mom and dad's house and "volunteer" for leftist causes to make scratch cash.

30 is the new 20.

I don’t know about Mein Kampf but the Congress’s actions in December amount to an Enabling Act. That and the aftermath of the 2014 election are the confirmation of the cliff dive that America took in 2008. We have been on a downward slope since 1913 and the establishment of the Federal Reserve and the ratification of the 16th and 17th Amendments. The slope angled more acutely downward with the New Deal and sharply so with the Great Society. The cliff edge was passed in November 2008 and ratified in November 2014 with the election that showed that the congress no longer has any attachment with the citizenry.

They were our weapons but they have been corrupted. The democrats are openly violating our laws and nothing is being done.

we are in the exact scenario the framers envisioned when they added the option for the states to amend the constitution through article five. It's time to use it before its too late.

I see no evidence whatsoever of any organized fight to move the nation politically to the right. None whatsoever.

Meanwhile, the Leftist forces of evil are more entrenched, more mobilized, more well structured, more hard working, and more focused than ever. They smell blood in the water and are going for the jugular before conservatives can possibly mobilize.

But as I said, I don’t see any evidence that conservatives will mobilize at the highest levels of politics and wealth necessary to reverse the leftist control of the schools, the unions, Hollyweird, the various minority groups, Universities. They are not just in politics anymore. They are in all levels of civil service management, Directors running the agencies. They will be implementing Agenda 21 at all levels of government in every agency.

What does do conservatives have to oppose this?

Nothing. The rich conservatives aren’t funding conservative grass roots competition at the rank and file level to be teachers and journalists and activists. They are just interested in making more money, which is fine. I don’t fault them at all. But it is not how to win this lost culture war against the left.

I love your optimism, but I see no appreciable movement on the part of Conservatives to take back this nation, other than a few talkers talking about how we need to do so, and a few very marginalized conservative Republicans who are opposed by the GOP-e every step of the way.

Sad but true. I sound like a pessimistic broken record saying America’s decline and fall into totalitarian oppression is baked into the cake, but I am just reading the tea leaves. I just see nothing turning this around, while we have large forces within and without pushing this nation into hard socialism.

I'm sorry but we most definitely don't have the rule of law. This administration enforces the law however it pleases on everything from immigration to mandatory minimums in drug sentencing. We also have whole new categories of administrative laws that often circumvent or supercede case law. This is unchartered territory.
