They are discussing propositioning equipment for 5,000 Americans, remember that the equipment will be in NATO countries with their own militaries with other NATO militaries neighboring them and close, and that NATO has a large, quick reaction force, and that Russia, is nothing like it was when it was an empire.
In fact these new NATO forces used to be part of what outnumbered us, when they were slaves of Russia, today they are a part of OUR defensive military alliance.
Thanks for posting. My concern is more about the current chain of command. I appreciate the info, though.
NATO is a lot bigger than just Obama, and I don’t think that he has done much to interfere with it, he seems to mostly leave our NATO military duties to be handled as normal, by the military, without his getting overly involved in the details.
You can see that the complaints of our pro-Russian posters here are that they think that Obama is being too strong, too forceful, too much like Reagan, so he obviously isn’t completely rolling over for the enemy, and Obama will be gone in less than 20 months.
