Mitt Romney on Jeb Bush: ‘A candidate makes mistakes — I’m proof of that’
Washington Times ^ | 6/12/15 | David Sherfinski

Former Massachusetts Gov. and 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney said he thinks former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush would probably like a mulligan on the recent question on the 2003 invasion of Iraq but said that Mr. Bush is a “very capable person” who could raise more money than all the other GOP presidential contenders put together.

“Well, I’m sure he would have liked to have taken it back and get the answer out at the end that he gave and put that at the very beginning, and I think he did misunderstand the question,” Mr. Romney said in an interview that aired Thursday on Fox News’ “The Kelly File” about Mr. Bush’s evolving answer on whether, in hindsight, he would have gone into Iraq in 2003. Mr. Bush ultimately said he would not have.

The biggest mistake anyone could make is to kiss the ring of the Mittfather.

Mitt: you are proof that the GOP electorate can make mistakes. Hopefully Jeb won’t be proof of the same.

Mitt is one of the great, all time, loser candidates, a perennial candidate since 1993, yet he only won a single election in his entire career.

That single win was under 50%, he left office with 34% approval, and had to end his announced hope of reelection. While he had been the 4th GOP governor in a row in that state, he turned the governor’s seat into a permanent democrat seat, it appears to date.

In his presidential efforts he always had the money and organization, yet lost to the money less McCain and Huckabee in 2008, then again ran against nobodies in 2012, and then lost against Jimmy Carter’s 2nd term, while we were on the verge of a depression.

All this from a guy who had left the GOP because of Ronald Reagan, and eventually become a supporter and fund raiser in democrat elections, Romney even voted for Tsongas, and fund raised for Planned Parenthood.

Why is he not the laughing stock of American political history?

Ringing Endorsement.

Remember Romney said so: Bush is just like me.

Mr. Bush is a “very capable person” who could raise more money than all the other GOP presidential contenders put together.

This is what's wrong with Jeb, Mittens and the elite GOP - its not which can raise the most votes; its who can raise the most money. Evidently, money is what elections are all about.

Good Comment. Our nation is in worse shape, which was the result of many “conservatives” actions.

Anybody who puts a bunch of Romney operatives on their campaign is formidable but are in great danger themselves. The Romney operatives stir up strife among the candidates only to intentionally destroy their own to pave a path for the GOP anointed. In this case, Bush is clearly the anointed and the Romney operatives around other candidates are the poison in those wells.

Romney staff are mercenary. Hired guns so to speak. they will just as soon work for a Dem as a Pub. So they will turn when a better offer comes along. Thats how Mitt got them to begin with.

Live and die by the sword.

The more conservative of the two won just as the lesser evils wanted. Both are evil. Arent YOU happy? You could have helped hold back liberalism and did not.

One should learn from one’ mistakes. Also, one should avoid the mistakes of others. It really isn’t that hard.

Jebster is this cycle’s designated loser. Just like Romney last time around. And McCain before him.

If the GOP wanted to win they would stop running candidates that their voters don’t like.

We are not going to vote for amnesty.

Amnesty is national suicide and we will not help with that.
