I’m paranoid as hell right now. I live 10 miles west of Ann Arbor (Chelsea) and saw two HUGE copters heading south, following M52. Another went by 30 minutes ago.

Your explanation makes more sense to me than any other I’ve heard yet. Get us all thinking this military activity is “innocent/normal”, and then start rounding us up under the guise of “further practice”.

During the Hurricane Katrina operation, I worked directly for Lt Gen Russell Honore (Army). I was Air Force, and was helping to coordinate his airlift operation.

Gov Blanco (Democrat) was an unholy mess. Indecisive, panicked, selfish, shameless, and vile. She and Mayor Nagan (also a Democrat) screwed up every aspect of the relief operation, and then cried to the media about how this act of God was all the fault of President Bush and his staff.

The media lapped it up.

General Honore was one of the most charismatic, brilliant men I had ever worked for.

He was literally fearless - against any hazard, the press, or danger.

He led by example, managed every detail, and was incredibly decisive.

He was also profane. The staff and I were cursed at incessantly, but we loved and respected the man. Even when he yelled at you, there was mutual admiration back from him.

Blanco and Nagin ordered the military to go house to house in New Orleans, confiscate personal firearms, and forcibly take people from their homes.

Gen Honore told them, politely, no way in hell am I or my military doing that.

So, they used the Guard and police forces. Honore ordered the Active Duty (under Title 10) to not comply, but the Guard was under Blanco's Title 32 clause, and had to comply.

Where are today's Gen Honore's?

They've been fired by Obama in order to eliminate a danger to their regime.

Another point, the govt is dedicating lots of time and our money to conduct these exercises in a part of the country they term as “hostile”. They will be a few hours drive from the real hostile border, but don’t seem to be the least bit interested in it. Add to that the commander in chief has a deep hatred for Texas and the rest of the country.
