Give a liberal a microphone with a TV camera in view and watch how stupid they become.

A train on what train bed? Do they expect hydrofoil trains?

Uh, there was public transportation in New Orleans. It went unused as the locals took the opportunity to raid the stores for free stuff.

A yard of flooded school busses comes to miNd. Just think how many will die when Guam flips over. Democrats LOVE saying the are the smart party.

I seem to recall a whole parking lot full of school buses that the mayor didn’t use to evacuate New Orleans residents.

Really, these people are embarrassing, but it’s not quite as crazy as the Democrat who said that sharks still follow certain trails in the sea where the slave ships threw Blacks overboard.

What do you call building a coastal city below sea level? Not so smart.
What do you call it when they fill it with democrats?
Brilliant.

Sure, because when a Cane is coming every knows Miami is the place to go...
Let’s take a train that rim-rides the gulf and put thousands of people on it when the tidal surge is coming fast...
Idiots.

A liberal snarkily informed me that those buses sat there because there weren’t enough people licensed to drive them.
I’m not licensed to drive a busload of passengers around either but if I can start it, I can drive it.

Nagin’s paid city workers whose job it was to transport people fled from their jobs. So funding would not have helped. It was the democratic leadership that failed
To: BradtotheBone
It seems like road tax goes into the general fund and gets spent on anything else but potholes. Cost overruns would be great business for some train contractor.

We need a train that leaves New Orleans to go to Orlando and on down to Miami that is the future, Brown continued.

There were a lot of school buses and commercial transportation that Nagin could have commandeered to move people out.
They probably could have moved hundreds of thousands of people in the time they had leading up to the hurricane.

Labor day 1935 in the Florida keys. A tidal surge wiped the train and passengers off the tracks.

Over 200 buses in that pic, total for the lot is probably over 300.
That is transportation infrastructure already in place. Democrat city leaders decided to not use it.
