Why is this an issue for us?
The victims have found resolution and have forgiven Josh. Discussing this further is not helping them. Indeed, this publicity has ripped off a scab and they’re feeling the injury afresh.
What do people who continue bringing up this issue want to take place? The death penalty for Josh, along with his parents? Would that be enough?
Never watched the show...don’t watch TV...didn’t really know anything about them until last week. This will fade and be replaced with a new gossip topic. Makes you look forward to next week.
Always was a freak show. Why is anyone surprised that they are perverts? Their whole lifestyle is perverted.

I’ve never seen this show. I understand the money involved would be hard to turn down but if I had that many kids I would not not want them in a TV show
With that many kids the odds are pretty good that at least one of them is going to to turn out to have some sort of issue. It could be drugs, a daughter getting pregnant, or some other form of criminal or morally problematic behavior. The publicity just makes it worse.
I bet 1/2 the people watching the show were hoping something like this came up.
But not in the way you mean it.

The Duggars dug their hole and dumped themselves.
My opinion: John Nolte is wrong.
The kid is repentant. Nolte tries to talk about forgiveness and redemption and how he believes in the healing power of Christ at the end....but insists the Duggars aren’t worthy of such treatment.

Lena Dunham, IIRC, is NOT repentant over her bad behaviour.
She is the one who should be dumped....
