US Nuclear Corp. (OTCBB: UCLE) has announced that it has shipped over $493,000 in advanced tritium monitor equipment to a leading edge Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) under development in Shanghai, China through its Overhoff Technology division today. Robert I. Goldstein, President, CEO and Chairman, stated, "This order was one of our most complex tritium monitoring systems designed and built by our Overhoff team. It also represents the largest sized shipment to any of our MSR clients in China during the second quarter and allows us to grow our footprint in the country. We are pleased they chose our Overhoff equipment recognized worldwide for its high quality, reliability and durability. MSR studies have shown that it is an effective and safe method of producing low cost, very high output energy to meet today's ever growing energy demands." The figures produced by scientists in an article from Bloomberg Business reveal that MSRs can burn up to 96 percent of its fuel, compared with only four percent by light-water reactors, and can generate 75 times the electricity per ton of uranium, making it the safest and cleanest green energy alternative. In the United States, this approach has received attention from companies such as TerraPower, backed by Bill Gates and Transatomic, backed by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, who are seeking to design MSR nuclear power plants but still require U.S. Regulatory Commission approvals to eventually license and build in the US.

At least this helps keep the industrial base functioning as there are no molten salt reactors being built in the US.

They will ship one until to China

It will be the only one they sell to China

In 24 months, China will be seeing knock off systems and put the American company out of business

We never learn

Dual use equipment. Can be used to help monitor an MSR reactor. Can also be used to help build H-boms...

“At least this helps keep the industrial base functioning as there are no molten salt reactors being built in the US.”

I certainly agree here. While we’re at it, maybe we can borrow some of their technology, for a change. The bad news is, this is probably the last sale this company will make, because soon there will be less expensive equipment on the market :(

“an also be used to help build H-bombs...”

They know how to do that already - that genie left the bottle a long time ago.

I don’t see how a tritium monitor could be dual use.

A tritium monitor purpose is to detected tritium in the air. It is used to detected leaks and warn workers.

That’s a good thing. Let the Commies make their own mess. We already worked out the numbers and sunk the Seawolf in deep water back about 1966, give or take. It sounds /sounded like a good idea but the stuff is just too hard to manage in a working production system.

It can also be re-purposed to detected sufficient levels of tritium production. Tritium is an essential ingredient for an H-bomb.

They are not going to install it. They are going to take it apart, reverse engineer it, and make it better. Then they will make 1000 of them. And they will tell ‘Overhoff’ to stick it ‘Uptheirass’.

Exactly; and if the Chinese can get these to work then the world will be much better off. Thorium reactors are also quite promising. The US has been lagging in researching and developing these technologies because of BHO.
