President Barack Obama may not like the title, since he has a thing about the Crusades, but he ought to give the book a read today, one day shy of the 71st anniversary of the Normandy invasion.

He might learn something about how to fight and defeat evil, as in the ISIS evil, that has spread across the Middle East and that threatens U.S. interests around the world, including the homeland

“It may be hard to comprehend today, but back then — unlike now — Americans, and everyone else around the world, believed the president. He had credibility. That is because back then, presidents usually meant what they said and did what they promised to do.”

With all due respect Mr. Lucas, I don’t think you have been paying attention to the past six years. You make it seem as though POTUS is inept. It’s not that he doesn’t know what he’s doing. This is all by design Mr. Lucas. You should have seen this by now.

He won’t read it, because, one - it was written by a white guy, and two- it doesn’t have his name in it.

Everyone who reads this thread should Google "Operation Wetback" to learn how Ike handled an illegal immigration problem in the 1950's.

Of course it could be done again - with proper leadership.

Not a page, but the-current-occupant-of-the-oval-office is working on tearing the entire Constitution into shreds.

Dwight Eisenhower is quoted in the TIME Magazine article, "Eisenhower on Communism," October 13, 1952:

"The Bill of Rights contains no grant of privilege for a group of people to destroy the Bill of Rights.

A group - like the Communist [feel free to substitute Islamic, Black Theology, Socialist (aka communism-lite)] conspiracy - dedicated to the ultimate destruction of all civil liberties, cannot be allowed to claim civil liberties as its privileged sanctuary from which to carry on subversion of the Government."

Such ideals as expressed by Eisenhower are not at all likely to positively impress the imposter pResident.
