Michael Dukakis sends support letter ahead of Phillipos sentencing (Boston Bomber ally)

Former Gov. Michael Dukakis says a Cambridge man facing five years in federal prison for repeatedly lying to the FBI about his pal Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is “a fine young man” who “could have a great future in public service.”

Dukakis went to bat for Robel Kidane Phillipos, 21, in a letter to U.S. District Court Judge Douglas P. Woodlock ahead of Phillipos’ sentencing today for making false statements to the FBI in its investigation of the Boston Marathon bombings. Prosecutors want five years.

Phillipos and Tsarnaev, both 21, grew up together in Cambridge and were classmates at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Dukakis’ wife, Kitty, and Phillipos’ mother were both social workers at the International Institute of Boston. Dukakis took Phillipos to the 2004 Democratic Convention in Boston and testified as a character witness for him at his trial.

“I have always believed that he could have a great future in public service,” Dukakis says. He called Phillipos “a young man who could and should have a great future ahead of him. For the life of me, I can’t understand why justice would be served by incarcerating him.”

Phillipos was present in Tsarnaev’s dorm room when classmates Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov removed evidence. The FBI had made the Tsarnaev brothers’ photo public. MIT police officer Sean Collier was killed later that night, and his family has said the Tsarnaev pals might have been able to prevent that.

Remember this photo? They said it ruined his POTUS campaign because it made him look like the enemy. Now we know that he really is. The guy is defending a piece of rat filth who tried to help TERRORISTS get away with murder, WTF? And this guy was Governor? Is drinking Kittys moonshine or something?

Dukakis never met a criminal he didn’t love. He furloughed Willie Horton over the objections of the Massachusetts legislature.

5 ? Give him 50. The last thing Massachusetts needs is another Dhimmi terrorist helper in public office.

So did Officer Sean Collier! He was already in public service. He had a great future ahead. Perhaps if Phillipos and his cohorts had not obstructed the FBI, maybe Officer Collier could have enjoyed his future. Dukakis’s “young man” was indirectly responsible for the murder of Sean Collier.

Yep, I remember that. Willie Horton, a freakin animal who butchered a kid working at a gas station and this bum Doocockass vetoes a bill preventing animals like that to be out on furlough all in the name of “rehabilitation”. I mean what the hell? The guy butchered a 16 year old kid, stabbed him multiple times and this idiot wants to “rehabilitate” him? F him! Freakin’ Democraps, they always pick these bums when come to Presidential contenders, the absolute worst of the worst.

If Dukakis were running for president next year, he’d win hands down. That’s how much the country has changed in just a few years. (And, yes, his support for terrorists would be a big plus in his favor.)

I....have to admit I’m bit taken aback.

The worst President we never had thinks this little terrorist aiding pig is fit for “public service”? What, elected office?

5 years? He should be shot against a wall, after everyone is reminded that he’s a loyal democrat.

And Dukakis should have his mouth sown shut so he can’t speak.

Guess he’ll learn how to start out on that public service education while in prison.

OSCAR WINNER Michael Dukakis....

if he hadn’t been running in 1988, his relative wouldn’t have won.

There a lot of that in Boston among liberal politicians.

In 1980, my dad debated Dukakis at Boston University, and my dad wiped the floor with him. After the debate, Dukakis admitted that he was a Marxist, and would never change. He kept his word. methinks : )
