Chuck Ross of the Daily Caller reports that the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has obtained information that could deepen the Hillary Clinton private email server scandal. The information is contained in notes of a meeting between two State Department whistleblowers and members of the Oversight Committee’s staff.
This story has been reported before. But the whistleblower reportedly ties it to the Clinton email server, alleging that clintonmail was used to conceal Abedin’s allegedly unlawful activity. That’s a big deal, or should be.
Second, if the acting State Department inspector general, who is said to be a political creature, shut down the investigation into Abedin, that’s a potential scandal within a scandal.
Third, according to the Daily Caller, the whistleblower reportedly claims he has evidence showing that Clinton was “criminally culpable” to some degree. We’ll see about that.
The inspector also reportedly said, after initial reports surfaced about Clinton’s private server, that “only half of the hard truth was out.” We’ll see about that, as well.
Will new information “blow the lid off of the Hillary Clinton private email server scandal,” as the Daily Caller suggests it might? I don’t know.
It’s becoming clear, though, that the Clinton scandals are overlapping, not discrete. They form a web of intrigue and wrongdoing characterized by disregard for rules usually in the service of making a buck. And they involve a stream of friends and enablers who always end up looking shady to one degree or another.
This suggests that there exists an almost endless supply of scandal that will dog Hillary Clinton for as long as she remains in the public eye. Voters thus have an added incentive to restrict the duration of that period.

Has the House offered a $1 million reward for the contents of Hillary’s server yet, no questions asked and ANONYMITY GUARANTEED? Perhaps the House should even offer to pay in RUSSIAN RUBLES!

This Hillary scandal may well wind up going somewhere after all, and the drip, drip, drip matters for the next couple of years.
Most important is that it is unlikely to happen under the current Justice Department and the Obama White House.

Huma Abedin, was exposed to highly sensitive U.S. government information...including Bengazi!!!
In one of dozens of emails released last week that included Abedin as among its recipients, on April 24, 2011, Abedin forwarded to Clinton’s personal email an internal State Department email from that same day written by Timmy Davis and sent to Abedin as well as to the State Department email addresses of other employees, including Clinton’s then-foreign policy aide, Jacob Sullivan.
The email cited a local report stating hotels in Benghazi were being targeted.
The email stated the interim Libyan government “conducted a raid on a house/storage facility and found and arrested an Egyptian cell reportedly there for the purpose of attacking hotels.”
Despite the threat, the email revealed Stevens “still feels comfortable in the hotel,” meaning the email exposed that the ambassador would continue to stay there.
“They are looking into the idea of moving into a villa, but that is some way off,” the email continued. “Based on discussion with DS yesterday, the hotel remains the safest location.”
Startlingly, the email contained information about Stevens’ exact movements, including that he “will be meeting with MFA in one hour and will make a written request for better security at the hotel and for better security-related coordination.”
Another sent to Clinton from Abedin detailed Stevens’ movements regarding his hotel stay.
“The envoy’s delegation is currently doing a phased checkout (paying the hotel bills, moving some comms to the boat, etc.),” wrote Abedin. “He (Stevens) will monitor the situation to see if it deteriorates further, but no decision has been made on departure. He will wait 2-3 more hours, then revisit the decision on departure.”
A March 27, 2011, email forwarded by Abedin to Clinton contained updates about the plans for the Benghazi mission’s establishment.
The email reads: “We expect to get support in particular from the Turks who have a consulate in Benghazi. Mr. Stevens team has been in touch with Africom planners on the details of the mission. We have made the official request for support from OSD but have yet to get approval. Once we have that – and we hope that will be very soon – we will be able to move forward with the planning.”
Another email forwarded to Clinton by Abedin briefed Clinton about such specific matters as mission staffing and the temporary rotation of personnel at the mission.
“I want to let you know about a temporary rotation in Benghazi,” read the April 22, 2011 email from then-Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman.
“TNC Envoy Chris Stevens has been on the road since March 13, when he began his outreach mission, and has been in Benghazi since April 5. (blacked out obvious security request) … I know how important it is to have continual coverage (security conditions permitting) in Benghazi. I will send Embassy Tripoli’s DCM Joan Polaschik to serve as Acting Envoy during Chris’ absence.”

THE NYT REPORTED 3/27/15: Clinton’s review (and erasing?) of her emails did not occur when she was secretary of state ......or even shortly after she left office.
Last October, nearly two years after she left office, the State Department sent her a letter requesting all government records, like emails, she may have possessed. In response, she provided the State Department in December with about 30,000 printed emails that she said were government records. She has said that an additional 30,000 emails were personal.
It appears Clinton still has copies of the emails she deemed public records. Attached to Mr. Kendall’s letter was one sent to him by the State Department this week.
A letter from the under secretary of state for management, Patrick F. Kennedy, said that the department understood that she wanted to keep copies of those documents. Mr. Kennedy said that the agency had consulted with the National Archives, and that allowing her “access to the documents is in the public interest as it will promote informed discussion” as she responds to congressional and other inquiries.

Over a five-year span, senior officials at the National Archives and Records Admins (NARA) voiced growing alarm about Hillary’s record-keeping practices as secy of state, according to internal documents obtained by Fox News. During Clinton’s final days in office, Paul Wester, director of Modern Records Programs at NARA – essentially the agency’s chief records custodian – privately emailed five NARA colleagues to confide his fear that Clinton would take her official records with her when she left office, in violation of federal statutes.
Referring to a colleague whose full name is unknown, Wester wrote on Dec 11, 2012: “Tom heard (or thought he heard) from the Clinton Library Director that there are or may be plans afoot for taking her records from State to Little Rock."---

Gowdy has had low expectations for justice ever being served on this subject, before the ‘16 election, given the powers to serve it are not aligned on our side.
What is the next best thing to do, but to take control of the release of the evidence, since that IS under Republican control.
So far, the server news alone has dropped Hillary about 20 points and caused her candidacy much discomfort as Democrats are seen openly looking for someone viable to load into the gate against her. Even Bloomburg!
Now come these emails which will eventually get around to public consciousness, just as the server scandal eventually sunk in. Monthly, even more will be released. Wow! It will never stop considering how many there were.
The new advantage for us is that they are being released by the State Department, which takes the misplaced heat off of Gowdy’s committee. How Gowdy shapes his case out of all this will be pretty sweet, especially as more witnesses and leaks scramble and spill on each other, in order to save themselves.
