Baltimore prosecutors and top police officials met Friday to try to mend relations, which have frayed since six officers were charged earlier this month in the death of Freddie Gray.
Since the charges against the officers, local police have complained that the case by State's Attorney for Baltimore Marilyn Mosby has sowed legal doubt about when they can pursue suspects who run away from them in high crime neighborhoods.
Mosby's office, in response to questions from CNN about whether she planned to issue legal guidance to police, said she is working to improve coordination.

I'm inclined to bet on the latter. One way this could be accomplished is that she gets offered a cushy "title only" job in the Obama Department of Just Us.
F-it. Let Baltimore Burn as the low-information prosecutor learns a lesson about the peter-principle.
Given the Bloodshed in Baltimore this month, it’s pretty clear that Black lives in Baltimore don’t matter to Blacks in Baltimore.
While I hate the violence and hate to see people get killed, there is some schaufrade(sp?) here.
In that, you have a majority black city, governed by a black power structure, exploding in violence among blacks to other blacks, due to the black governing power structure throwing their police under the bus over a questionable case to start with.
Now it’s the police who protest in Baltimore

If those cops compromise with her, they’ll reap what they sow.
If I were a Baltimore cop, I would be working hard at finding a new job. I would not want to work for a city in such they throw police under the bus when Sharpton and liberals start bitching about racism.
So says CNN.

Yes, I hate the carnage too, because the semi-helpless “decent folks” are going to catch some stray rounds too. Maybe it is a “good thing” in the long run to let them suffer from their own stupidity. They have no common sense about either politicians or preachers. They fall for a BS line in both categories.
Yes, she gotta go. I think that mayor gotta go too. I don't think they can mend the fences until they are gone.
The Ferguson effect.
The cops are screwed if they do their job or if they don’t. At least if they don’t; they have a shot at living another day right now.
Bringing charges against the 6 cops before knowing any of the facts is what created this problem.
No way to unring that bell now.
....”I think that mayor gotta go too. I don’t think they can mend the fences until they are gone”......
I don’t think she’ll be gone. She’s in too tight with the Obama Administration.....I think they’ll continue to “use” Baltimore’s black community as a “testing” ground. Trying to find something that works while not addressing the real problems with the culture itself.
Nothing they do will work for the black community....what will work is they’ll get more revenues into the city hall to play with ....which is really what this is all about.
Good luck un-scrambling the egg.
Heh.
Except that it is the property owner and small businessman that suffers.
BS.
The case will have to be moved to the MD state capital city in order to have any peace in Baltimore.
This would be more like trying to put the egg back in the shell :0)
location, location,location.
If want want to do business with thugs, expect your business to be a little thuggish.
I read yesterday that Mosby’s husband is planning to run for Mayor. That oughta fix things right up.
