With another shoe dropping in the Hillary Clinton scandal nearly every day, America is witnessing an unprecedented spectacle. Never in modern times has a presidential candidate been so tarnished — and yet also so popular.

Oops, there was one other time. Actually, two. Those were the times when Bill Clinton ran for president. Like her husband, Hillary’s a human Rorschach test. He captured the White House twice without ever winning a majority of the popular vote, and polls paint an eerily similar challenge for her.

Half the country thinks she is fundamentally dishonest and untrustworthy. The other half is ready to make her president. One recent survey showed her beating each leading Republican rival head-to-head, but never getting to 50 percent.

Wrong. The ENTIRE country knows for a fact she is dishonest, malevolent, unbalanced, sadistic, traitorous, unhinged, malicious, deranged and insane - AND half the country wants her to be President.

Imelda Marcos was a paragon of virtue compared to Hillary. Imelda, at least, sort of cared about her country. And most of the 6000 pairs of shoes, or however many of them she was supposed to own, were given to her by manufactures as giveaway samples to support the huge footware manufacturing industries which were there at the time. It turned out that she actually passed out a lot of them during her state visits.

Not just Imelda Marcos, include the persona of María Eva Duarte de Perón, First Lady of Argentina, until her demise in 1952. Adored by the masses, intensely disliked by others, Evita probably was the single most pivotal character in Argentina during the 20th Century, her influence stretching far beyond her grave.

Unlike Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, Evita had the good grace to die before the most sordid actions in her past became known. And there shall probably never be a stage show which portrays Herself half as endearing, or as romantic a figure, as the original Evita.

Why does the media continue to say Billy boy got impeached because he had sex with an intern? The crux of that case was he was legitimately accused of sexual harassment and rape. He used the power of his office to attack and tarnish the reputations of his accusers, and to unquestionably attempt to obstruct justice in their cases. Monica was simply a trigger that showed yes, the president does engage in this behavior strengthening the harassment and rape charges against him. It was totally about him using the power of his office to harass, private citizens, and deny them their day in court.

If my memory is correct, Bill Clinton was accused of perjury. He gave a deposition and lied under oath in regards to the Paula Jones case. Can anyone here corroborate this for me?

Clinton was not impeached for the “affair” with Monica Lewinsky, or to “punish” him for the “affair.” The charges were perjury, obstruction of justice, abuse of power. IIRC.

Thanks for the specifics in the Clinton Impeachment business. The news media and the Democrats [I repeat myself] always tries to change the subject about the impeachment of Wm J. Clinton. It is to smear the GOP as though they were/are just prudes.

Democrats can get by with every transgression known to man because the MSM is in their pocket.
