There is no evidence he has done anything like that since he was 15 after he received counseling and got spiritual help.
He even told his future wife about what had occurred before he was married. His father-in-law (whose son is married to one of the victims) has vouched for his character.
But, if you want to keep piling on, it speaks volumes of your lack of character and compassion.

But more than that, he has repented before God.

Someone with multiple counts of admitted child abuse on multiple children is a pedophile, someone who is sexually excited by children, and worse than being a pedophile, this Duggar is a pedophile who has progressed to ACTION. He has actually acted sexually on his urges and harmed many children. Pedophilia doesn’t go away. There is no cure.
His forgiveness by the Almighty is between him and Him.
That is not the point. He is a human being, free because his parents protected him until the statute of limitations ran out. They tried to appear correct by reporting him to a sex offender head of a “rehab” program, and a cop -— a pedophile cop who is serving time currently for child pornography.
He is a danger to society and that is everyone’s business.
AMEN, just as I and other have forgiven our molesters. Remember what God said. “If you don’t forgive nor shall you be forgiven” something like that =)
You do have the power to forgive your own molester. Not this Duggar guy.
ANd that’s between the Duggars and God. They STILL should be prosecuted and taken off the air. Period.

Josh is an adult, he repented and also resigned his job at the Family Research Council.
But you're still not satisfied.

BTW, my grown daughter with her concealed weapons permit is quite capable of thwarting any danger.

David repented of adultry and murder. God forgave him.
Forgiveness didn’t equate to avoidance of the temporal consequences. God set that system up.
David had to experience the consequences of his actions. So do Josh Duggar and Jerry Sandusky and everyone who goes down that road.
Josh is a repeated child molester. There is a high recidivism rate even with counseling of which he received none. Worse, the family is Gothardist, which means the girls are taught that it's THEIR fault that Josh is attracted to them.
There is only the one police report, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. It's likely the girls have been molested since 2002.

There is a repetitive child molester walking the streets thanks to the Duggars covering up the crime until the Arkansas Statute of Limitations (Which in the case of the sexual assault of children is shorter than the shelf of Wonder Bread) ran out. I have all kinds of compassion for Josh Duggar's victims. None for him or his parents that enabled him to rape again and again and again.
For crying out loud, he JOKED about incest when he was actually allowed to chaperone a date with a sister he had repeatedly sexually assaulted. Some joke. It shows he would really like to do it again.
You don't know that. None of us do. Anybody can talk the talk and put on an act for the camera.
The piling on of sympathizers on behalf of this pedophile is depressing. The focus seems to be on his so-called repentance and very little attention paid to the girls he perved on.

Sins and teenaged “crimes” are not all the same. As a teen I would find broken public phones in France and use them to call my family in the USA, thus “stealing” thousands of dollars, along with every other foreign student in town. Maybe you stole candy bars. Whatever.
That is not the same as molesting little children. That destroys their lives. The fact that they got counseling (which I doubt -— they stayed within their sect and their counselor was himself a multiple sex offender) doesn’t make it ok. Gd’s forgiveness doesn’t make it ok — for the victims OR society.
I don’t steal any more. I’m not even tempted to steal. I only was homesick when I used broken phones. Pedophilia stays for life. Society can only hope he no longer acts upon it. And he has daily access to little girls, maybe forever if his wife keeps bearing them.
It is not ok, no matter what religion the guy is. And he happens to be part of a sect where men have ultimate control over women, so you will never know how those victims will feel forever and what will happen to them for the rest of their lives because they were taught that “all is forgiven” to the person who harmed them.

It wasn't an incident of kids playing doctor. According to the police report, Josh Duggar repeatedly went into his sisters' rooms at night---even after being "disciplined" for it---and forcibly fondled their vaginas and breasts. He was caught with his hand up the skirt of his five year-old sister, as he held her on his lap under the guise of reading her a book.
I'm pretty tired of hearing how common that kind of behavior is. He's a pervert.

Before: Lookee at us and our really big, religious, righteous family, and you fall for it.
Now: Lookee at us, how we are misunderstood, misjudged, and guess what, you STILL fall for it.
It’s not up to you or me to “forgive” the teenager who initiated the incest. It’s up to his victim. Just because it happens “often”, as you claim, does not make it any less traumatic for the person who has been abused.
