Not many of the current Methodist clergy or laity are cringing, the old time shouting Methodists such as my paternal grandparents are a very small minority in today's Methodist churches. That is, if there are any at all, which I doubt is the case for many churches. I have a mental vision of my sainted grandparents spinning in their graves.

1. Hillary puts on a religious front the same way she puts on her southern accent, and they are both completely fake.
2. My guess is that the comment was planted, and Hillary couldn’t quote scripture without being prepped by her people. Hillary is almost as big a fraud as Barack the First.
We left the UMC about ten years ago...a perfect storm of a local church that became toxic and the denomination’s slow but sure slouch toward Gomorrah.
