His “aid” will now get widow’s benefits after the old goat kicks the bucket...which could be any day.

Mitchy said they were going to punch the tea party I the nose. And they did. Why would anyone ever again vote for a republican. The only person I’ll ever vote for who claims he or she is a conservative will be if they’re third party. NO republican will ever get my vote.

As my wife says, “When you’re voting for a tea party candidate, you’re still voting for a republican.”

In this picture, they look like a nice, respectable couple. But MS people are too uninformed to know how liberal they are, or at least Thad is.

Step 1: Despite maxing out government pension, run for reelection after surreptitiously accepting promises to give him (and his mistress) highly paid, but with minimal need to actually show up, if they ran, were reelected, and later retired at an agreed upon time in the new term.

Step 2: Defeat a Tea Party candidate and get re-elected using ‘RAT voters after denying he was having a long-term affair with his long-term, and highly compensated, assistant.

Step 3: Wife dies (December 2014).

Step 4: Marry (May 2015) long-term, highly compensated ($165,000 a year) assistant with whom you denied having had a long-term affair.

Step 5: Continue discussions with the Mississippi Barbour political organization and the Washington DC lobbyists on when the best time would be to take the planned next steps (e.g., retirement from the Senate and lobbyist jobs for new spouse and self).

Yep, the GOPe loves it when a plan comes together.

Did Senator Portman of Ohio donate $100,000 towards the wedding gift, or did he consider the $100,000 he donated from HIS campaign contributions last June to race bait McDaniel in the run-off against Cochran his gift?

“NO republican will ever get my vote”.

So the mainstreamers now have you and others like you exactly where they want you in the disgruntled and disloyal box.

I wouldn’t necessarily want to dissuade you from your position, but let me see if this logic isn’t like your logic in explaining your position.

After 200 plus years the country that began a Republic, is now more nearly a Democracy, and so many swearing oath to support and defend the Constitution, are now lying to themselves and the citizens they represent, so I need to leave this place or at the very least dump the USA, as I dump the only party whose platform even comes close to preserving Liberty and Country.

Face it, this country is run by humans. And they certainly are. With all the warts of humanity. We know unfortunately a lot more about some than others because they are in the limelight so to speak. Such as those power brokers in DEE CEE who will apparently do anything to maintain the status quo. All with the able assistance of you and yours who demand third party loser status to garner your vote in a two party system. It took two hundred years and moral decay to get here. We aren’t going to get well in two or twenty.

Unless we get lucky and an act of God intervenes.

The power brokers who will apparently do anything to maintain the status quo is the perfect description of the GOP. So, when you keep voting for them you help them achieve their goal.

I repeat: NO REPUBLICAN WILL EVER GET MY VOTE. I won’t be helping them anymore with maintaining the status quo.

I don’t understand people like you. How can you not see that voting for republicans is hurting your country just as much as voting for democrats? They’re one and the same. The only difference is the democrats seem to have more respect for you than the ones you support.

But, this is America. So, keep voting for them. It’s your choice. My choice is to do everything I can to see that the grand old party goes the way of the Whigs. And if that means democrat rule for a while, so be it. We’ve been under democratic rule since George Bush took over for Reagan.

I’d like to know how much taxpayer money was spent on gifts by the rinos for this old fart. I can just see them fawning all over the happy couple.

I didn’t like how the Miss & Repub party begged for Dimocrat votes to defeat Cochran but as a personal matter I have no problem with them getting married. It’s their business, imo.
They do look to be about the same age. It’s not like he’s marrying a woman 35-40 years younger.

I see very clearly that voting for certain Republicans is hurting the country.

I reject the ridiculous premise that democrats and Republicans are “one and the same”. Read the party platform it is there for a reason, and should mean something. If a party member rejects the platform, based I might add on Constitutional principles, then that candidate should be rejected by the voters and the party. See any rejecting going on. Didn’t think so.

You have no idea who I vote for. It wasn’t for my three non conservative Republicans in office, nor was it for the democrats who truly know how to hurt the country.

I don’t paint myself into a corner by rejecting every “Republican”. We have a two party system so far, and short of an act of God, voting for independents will get you a Bernie Sanders look alike.

The electorate is the real problem, not the Republican, or Democrat parties. Voters seem to have the Mississippi syndrome of voting for someone who shouldn’t have graced the ballot to begin with, like our present inhabitant of the offal office, or the candidate for the nursing home this article is about.

I know your point, and my general feeling is, it will lead to civil war if we end up with enough of you, as it will ensure we have the absolute worst government possible. Elections have consequences and the primary is the battle ground. When the primary is over, and the electorate has spoken, then what? Vote for the baby killing, economy killing party, or the party that might produce a Mike Lee or Ted Cruz.

A civil war won’t start because the republican party merges with the democrat party. That’s already happened and I don’t hear any canon fire.

If you get a conservative to win the primary and he or she is then supported by the republican party, they might get my vote back. But all I’ve seen them do so far is “punch conservatives in the nose”. As far as I’m concerned they’re either for America or they’re against it. There is no middle ground.

And if you think the gop is going to allow Cruz to be the nominee of the republican party, just keep on dreaming. It will never happen. If I’m right and the party elites slander Cruz every chance they get and never come to his defense when the democrats slander him, and the nominee is some rino from Mississippi, will you vote for him?

A third party should have been started by Palin back in 2008. By now it would be the second party of a two party system. The republican party would have gone away. The elites would still be here. They’d just be open members of the democrat party.

That’s all I have to say. That and I will never vote for another republican.
