As Another Accusation Bites the Dust, Columbia Rape Saga Takes New Turn
Reason ^ | May 20, 2015 | Cathy Young

Now, I have learned that after a hearing in late April, Nungesser was found "not responsible" in this latest case—altogether, the fourth time he has been cleared of a sexual assault charge at Columbia. When Sulkowicz first went public a year ago, the fact that her alleged attacker was still on campus and had never been subjected to any formal sanctions despite being accused of sexual assault by three different women helped fuel the outrage. Yet the latest investigation strongly supports Nungesser's claim, made in media interviews and in his lawsuit, that the multiple complaints were not independent of each other and may have been part of a vendetta stemming from the original charge by Sulkowicz.

Several days after my Daily Beast piece, which featured not only Nungesser's account of his relationship with Sulkowicz but social media messages tending to support his version, the feminist blog Jezebel ran a purported rebuttal titled "How to Make an Accused Rapist Look Good." Much of the story, by Jezebel editor Erin Gloria Ryan, dealt with Sulkowicz's not entirely convincing explanation of her friendly messages to Nungesser days after what she says was a terrifyingly violent rape. But the piece also contained a new revelation meant to bolster the claim that Nungesser was a serial sexual predator: the existence of a hitherto unknown male victim, identified by the pseudonym "Adam."

For the first time we learn that the accusation by this MALE accuser was unfounded. The possibility of this male and aMattress Girl not acting independently from each other is considered in the article.

What a nightmare for the accused, who is the real victim. I would never get over an ordeal like this.

“Mattress Girl”

I wonder if she has enough intellectual horsepower to recognize that she will be wearing that mattress (metaphorically) for the rest of her life?

I suspect not...

When I was in college “mattress girl” meant something completely different.

Once again UnReason misses the point which is rampant immorality and sordid behavior on all sides.

It sounds like “Adam” was a gay friend of “Mattress Girl”, if he exists at all.

Maybe this sort of behavior is why Islam requires 4 female witnesses to corroborate a rape? Nah...

“What a nightmare for the accused, who is the real victim.”

Not really.

He is as guilty as all of them.

“It’s not the facts of the case, it’s the seriousness of the charge!”

Face it, the rape laws are written by women to destroy men.

Now that they have graduated, I wonder what her next act will be. Does she follow him to his next stage in life? Will she become a stalker?

Not a fan of due process?

Now how do you figure that? The guy gets intimate with a college girl and you think it’s the same as trying to get an innocent man sent to prison?

This woman does more harm to genuine rape victims. Bet she’ll be a future democrat politician.

I disagree with that. Legally he is guilty of nothing while his accuser is guilty of falsely reporting a crime, and the university is guilty of facilitating the demonization of the victim. Morally I find his unsound judgement and fornication to be far less outrageous than the “mattress girl’s” campaign to bear false witness against him and destroy him. I also find his actions to be miles less outrageous than the feminist movement’s attempt to turn an accusation of sexual assault into the next “racism” where the accused becomes dehumanized simply by virtue of the accusation.

These pictures and article is from a daily fashion blog I get. You’ll see the mattress girl at graduation carrying her prop and her friends helping her.

The message is that she prevails. The comments are divided.

After all these rape accusations are proven false once again how come no one can take apart the Juanita Broderick story and doesn’t this prove bj is a rapist once and for all?

“Face it, the rape laws are written by women to destroy men.”

Because feministas would rather drag men down than elevate themselves.

Feminists are now saying that false accusations further their cause... or something

This is why I tell my college aged son to keep his pants zipped up. Don’t use girls. Don’t hang out at parties getting drunk. Don’t go to strip clubs. Use your thinker and stay clear of trouble and needy, feminist girls. He’s got the message. Not that some girl couldn’t file a false report anyway but it’s best to stay out of the way of the college crowd where it’s easy come, easy go.
