“It is hard enough to be a Republican Governor in Maryland and now this will make it even harder for him to be able to fix Maryland and possibly jeopardize the reelection in 2018.”
$200 million in a $40 billion budget is chump change. This will be absorbed into the current budgeting process.
This is going to be good for Hogan and Republicans across the country in other states that do this. They can take credit for killing these taxes.
