Cashing in: Retailers, ranges take aim at female gun owners

Hmmmm. "....takes aim at female....." Interesting wording jan. Anyway, I learned a long time ago that similar to fast cars, the ladies may know a lot more than you think about the power available. Rock on ladies.

There's a lady merchant running a counter at a firearm store here in town who absolutely knows what the hell she's talking about.

That's an exception to a great number of people behind the counters where firearms are sold, regardless of their gender.

LOL! Roger that. It’s weird going in a shop and encountering a salesperson who is clueless and that you know more than they do. Like, “Why are you working here and who the heck hired you?”

I think there is a lot of market to develop with female gun owners.

To start with, a wider range of guns from which to choose. Only some women want and are comfortable with guns that are more popular with men. But there is a very broad (no pun intended) range of guns an individual woman might like for her purposes.

And it is a good question if a given woman wants a multipurpose “average” gun for all uses, or specialized guns for different situations and purposes.
