RUSH: You're gonna have to forgive me. I'm gonna tell you this up front. The Stephanopoulos story, my fire was lit on this years ago. This, to me, is "been there, done that." But, see, I've gotta fight that because I know to a lot of people this is earth-shattering. See, this is why it takes a concerted effort and a constant use of empathy to do this job well. See, I have the benefit of knowing everything George Stephanopoulos, Bill and Hillary Clinton, The Forehead, Begala, that whole team, Rahm Emanuel, since they burst on the national seen in 1992.
As such, none of this is a surprise to me. But I can't come here and say that 'cause that's gonna sound smug and know-it-all. And I can't act like it's old news even though it is, because to a lot of people, sad though it may be, they never heard of George Stephanopoulos 'til he got the gig at ABC. And they had no idea, they're just now learning what he did. And we don't know what their impression of it is. When it comes to Millennials and low-information people, we don't know that they're bothered by the fact that he used to work for the Clintons.
They might not have a thing in the world wrong with it. They might not think there's a conflict at all, especially if they're wedded to the Democrat Party, it won't matter. Whatever it takes to win. Whatever advantage they can get, they'll take. I mean, I think intelligence guided by experience should tell everybody that it's a mistake to look at the modern Democrat Party through the prism of old time politics. There's no such thing as honor. There's no such thing as the rules. There's no such thing as even debate.
I mean, this is all about what you can get away with. Stephanopoulos's apology, I mean, when you break this down, this guy doesn't have any remorse. He's essentially saying, "Please forgive me for donating to AIDS and please forgive me for donating to the environment and please forgive me." It's a joint F-U to everybody disguised as, "Oh, I'm so terribly sorry, I should have said it earlier." I mean, this is the guy that asks Romney in the debate in 2012 about contraception? The guy's never been a journalist in his life. He goes to from the Clinton war room -- he was a campaign consultant and advocate -- his job was to destroy Republicans, for crying out loud. And he gets hired by ABC without ever reporting a single story. He's never, ever been a journalist.
The Republicans should have refused to cooperate with this guy from that day forward, and now we've left it up to him to tell us that he's not gonna moderate debates anymore? We shouldn't have ever sat down for a single debate with him. We shouldn't go on a single show that he hosts, like the Sunday morning This Week or Good Morning America. It's a trap. It's nothing more than agreeing to sit down and let the Clinton war room interview you and then destroy you either at the time or after you leave. And of course people on our side, "Well, we're gonna be honorable and we understand the lay of the land and we can't be cowards and we can't run away. We must face it as it exists."
Yep...until now I guess EVERY IDIOT REPUBLICAN believe that Steffy was unbiased.
Hint: We will NOT win elections with this mindset.
I know, seriously? I remember the Clinton Klan quite well. I was still in my “formative” years during that time and it was quite a learning experience. It caused me to become a conservative. I also got into a lot of debates with people that are no longer my friends (or never were). lol
I have never watched a single show on ABC in which G. Stephanopoulis was on. The reason was elementary - he is a partisan democrat hack.

You need to choose Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin. There are hundreds of conservative people around the political arena that you can choose without getting some liberal media louse who only wants to blindside the republican candidates and not get to the truth of the candidates position. Truly, you have the chance to pick good people to showcase good candidates and have the people actually have good info to make a voting choice. Choose carefully!

As others have said - Stephy’s associations should come as a surprise to no one. George has always been a Clinton hatchet man, and will always be a Clinton hatchet man. End of story.
He signed a new contract last year, and he makes somewhere in the neighborhood of $14 million a year. You can figure he’s got a fake foundation somewhere in the mix, and I’d bet he pays less than $2 million in federal/state taxes. So, he’s got plenty of money to throw around. I’d also take a guess that if you dug into this.....he’s donating to senators and a handful of mayor candidates as well.
Don't forget this glittering jewel when Georgie had to correct 0bama about his 'faith'.

ABC-TV's George was having regular conversations w/ Obama's COS. Obama placed his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in a very strategic position---calling the shots at the US Treasury---- at the same time Rahm was working as Obama's COS.....and while Obama's pick, Tim Geithner was Treasury Secy.
THE KINGPINS OF CHICAGO CRIMINAL POLITICS IN OUR WH circa 2009 wasted no time.....they had a stranglehold on the Census, AND the US Treasury, from day one.
The minute Obama/Rahm/Valerie/Axelrod, and that Practiced bunch of Chicago criminals, landed in the WH they did two things that were apparently crucial to their evil plans

THIS MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD shortly after quitting his powerful WH job as Obama's COS, Rahm held a presser declaring he "just remembered" he really, Really wanted to be Mayor of Chicago. Then Rahm announced he had magically "raised" $30 million for his campaign in "just a matter of weeks." (waiting for hysterical laughter to die down).
Ya gotta wonder how much Wall Street Rahm wired offshore when Obama put him in charge of the entire US Treasury.....and just where did the $75G Stephanopoulous give Clinton come from?
