But state-run exchanges that make all products equal and equally bad aren’t anywhere near a conservative, market-based, idea. The whole concept of a state-run exchange is bogus.

The left would have gone with single payer from the start if they could have got it through, but the incrementalism of HeritageFoundation/Romneycare is of course better for them than nothing. And yes, they will argue to replace it with overtly, rather than the current, quasi-covertly, socialized medicine.
