Move over, Angels: Chinese company wants to spend $500 million to reshape area near stadium in Anaheim
ANAHEIM - A Chinese development company wants to build a $500 million, L.A. Live-style complex at the doorstep of Angel Stadium.
LT Global Investments plan includes a 28-story condominium tower, a 26-story hotel-office building and a 460,000-square-foot retail center with a rooftop plaza. The plan calls for 600 condos and apartments, 300 hotel rooms and 60,000 square feet of office space.
A pedestrian pathway would link the development to the ballpark.

Is the developer the Chinese woman featured in a recent FR thread?

They’ve already done this in NYC at Mets Stadium. They developed an entire citi near the stadium. And it sold quite well.

More Condos in Flushing, Queens, at Sky View Parc

Great. Now we can have massive, uninhabited “ghost cities” in America just like they have all over China.

Yeah that's why the slime that owns the Angels now wants the City of Anaheim to just give him the rights to the property. My opinion is if he wants so bad for the team to be Los Angeles Angels he can just take his disrespectful A$$ and move the team out.

Nothing to see. Just getting in early before the official notice calling in our loans.

Correct. The Chinese are planning major projects in downtown Los Angeles and Anaheim simply to make sure they get a return on the money they loaned us. If we cannot pay back their loan, then at least they have valuable property here.
The neighborhood on State College at Orangewood next to Angel’s stadium has plenty of space for major condos.

Not long ago the Chinese arrested 3500 people who were making counterfeit meat destined for chinese restaurants. They were making meat out of rats and glue. Government seized 20,000 tons. We could use some of this communist Chinese business know-how in America.
