Jeb Bush Has the Cash But Not the GOP Support.

But money is unlikely to be Bush’s problem in this campaign, and cash may be a less valuable resource than another sort of currency in which he is lacking: the support of influential Republicans, like current senators and governors, especially those who publicly endorse a candidate. Historically, these endorsements have been the best proxy for support in the “invisible primary” and a leading indicator for which candidates may emerge victorious through the rough-and-tumble nomination race.

...

We give each candidate “endorsement points” based on endorsements received from governors and members of Congress, which work like this: 10 points for each governor who endorses you, 5 points for each senator, and one point for each member of the House.5

Jeb does not have endorsements. Previous leaders have had a lot. Jeb's support among elected GOP politicians is invisible so far.

Cruz apparently has zero endorsements.

Doesn’t matter.

He’ll be the nominee — in order to ensure that Hillary wins.

Same as it was with McCain

Cruz apparently has zero endorsements.

He has the support of the true Patriots here at Free Republic. That's worth at least 100 endorsements as I see it. Plus, Governor Sarah Palin will doubtlessly endorse Senator Ted Cruz as she has done before. Once that happens (and it will), the momentum will be unstoppable.

Jeb is a RINO and will lose like all the other RINOs because he can’t distinguish himself from the Rat.

I hope Jeb Bush is toast and it is starting to look like it. Who wants him? For if he is the nominee he guarantees eight years of the “Wicked Witch.”

It was far later than this in the 2008 election cycle when McCain was counted out completely. He had no money and his entire staff quit.

Funny how he became the GOP candidate.

That’s why there are now 39 candidates running on the GOP side. The elites want a muddled scrum with a brokered convention so they can hand it to Jebby.

If the conservatives can’t or won’t come together soon enough and in sufficient numbers to carry Ted Cruz to victory, then Clinton will win.

~~Cruz, OR LOSE~~ Ted Cruz the only true Conservative in this race.

I hear talk that Jeb is preparing to take Hillary’s place, if she drops out. He could go drag, and campaign in Spanish, collecting the vagina and illegals votes.

Ive decided to fight back the best way I know....bring voters in one by one...for Cruz. I’ll talk to folks, organize for the rally event in Tampa and whatever else I can think of doing.

If things dont shake out Ill back Walker then Rubio. I wont vote if Bush huckster Christie. and NEVER vote for Paul under any circumstances.

I hope he spends it all so we can send the RINOs a message.

If Jeb Bush truly does flame out, then Rubio is the backup for The Cheap Labor Express.
As long as they get the amnesty candidate they paid for.
We won’t be allowed to vote for anyone who would stop the invasion within the R and D divisions of the Uniparty.
