Last night, two heavily armed gunmen, equipped with AK-47s and drum-type, high capacity magazines were shot and killed by alert police after they opened fire on an unarmed security guard assigned to protect a First Amendment, Free Speech event in Garland Texas. The event was organized by the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), headed by Pam Geller and featured drawings and depictions of Mohammed, believed to be a prophet & messenger of God by devout Muslims. As underscored by the Charlie Hebdo attacks, Muslims have resorted to terrorism and murder to prevent anyone from displaying imagery of Mohammed.

Don’t you remember the NYT’s outrage when the “artist” bum Andres Serrano put a portrait of Jesus Christ in a bucket of his urine and displayed it as the creative work entitled “Piss Christ” at the Brooklyn Art Museum to the cheers of the glitterati as something extraordinarily creative and brave? Don’t you remember?? neither do I.

Agreed totally. Silly me also forgot Walter Duranty and his complete falsehoods about Stalin and life in the Soviet Union in the 1920s and 1930s. He even won a Pulitzer Prize of his own for that garbage and I was quite taken aback when it was decided a few years ago that there was no complete justification in having that prize revoked (definitely it should have been, big time).
