Some people are just idiots. I was shopping with a friend about my age once at Macy’s and the same thing was asked of me.

Thanks guys. I’m ok. It didn’t help that I turned to look at hubby and he was gloating. That’s what finally did it. Nurse came out to the waiting room - twice - to apologize. I told her she’s not the first and just forget it. I just had a bad day. Had little sleep last night and that probably didn’t help my appearance any, plus, my hair is mostly gray now - and hubby’s is still really dark. I’ll live. :-/ I’m ok now. BUT, I will no longer go in with hubby when he goes in to talk to the dr. I’ll just stay in the waiting room. Meanwhile, they have decided not to do anything at this time. No messing with the pacemaker unless absolutely necessary.
I’m glad that Mr S is doing well...but want to give you a cyber hug. People (even educated ones like nurses) can be really mindless and stupid!
Remember “empire” waist blouses? Maybe 5/6 years ago real popular. I had a gray t-shirt one from Kohls...I still have it, but rarely wear it because...I got asked (more than once!) “when the baby was due?” Isn’t that funny? Haha...NOT. When the awkward “my bad” was said I actually said “yes, yes it was.” Chubby PLUS “change” water retention....if they ONLY knew the personal “risk” they were taking...I recall thinking “I only need ONE middle aged woman on my jury, and I’ll walk.”

These mornings have been crazy, as I’m being trained at the “new” job...so I haven’t been on the thread & have to renew my Quinn subscription. I thought I could pull in 1480 out of Latrobe...but...(you’ll laugh, but it’s how my life works) I pull “in” the PaTurnpike “channel” I get Quinn (on big boom is w/antenna for a few minutes then it just fades into “TPike” talk and then fade back to Quinn. (I can walk-less than 3-4 minutes- to I-76 from my house.) I can get the station in my car (once off my street).
