Hillary Clinton doesn't play by the rules.

That's not a partisan attack. It's not a talking point. It's not a fantasy. It's a fact—an agonizing truth to people like me who admire Clinton and her husband, who remember how Bill Clinton rose from a backwater governorship to the presidency on a simple promise: He would fight for people who "work hard and play by the rules."

The evidence is overwhelming and metastasizing: To co-opt a William Safire line, Hillary Clinton is a congenital rule-breaker.

"More than 180 Clinton Foundation donors lobbied her State Department." "That's not illegal," writes Vox reporter Jonathan Allen, "but it is scandalous." The coauthor of a fair-minded Clinton biography, Allen notes that while there's no evidence of illegal corruption, "The size and scope of the symbiotic relationship between the Clintons and their donors is striking." He adds, "The Clintons have shown they can't police themselves."

It's true. They're scared of her. The whole stinking lot. The problem is anyone who takes her on, even if they win, will suffer consequences no one would want to live with. The way I see it, the only path to her overwhelmingly deserved destiny is not via the criminal justice system. Her just, well-deserved punishment is having any of her myriad transgressions knocking her out of the race.

That's all we can ever expect. Hillary will not be doing any time, I'm afraid.

Because of the Clintons, the Democrats are becoming known at the "Party of Corruption." They have always been corrupt, but it was more subtle, and the MSM always covered.

But the Clintons have been so overt and "in your face" about it, that it's become impossible to ignore/hide.

If the Democrats continue to defend or just ignore the situation, the entire party will be damaged.

The Republicans have been labeled the "Party of the Rich." The Democrats will know become known as the "Party of the Corrupt."

If the Democrats have any hope in avoiding this label, it is up to their leadership to step forward and call for an investigation into the Clintons. If found guilty, the Democrats should demand that the judge "throw the book" at them. The Clintons need to be punished severely - and ostracized by the Democrats - if they have any hope is separating the party from the stench of the Clintons.
