I wonder if she should go home, since they pay a monthly rate 3 1/2 times the hourly rate. I guess shell demand a monthly bonus of $150 after she gets her $15 an hour raise.

Will the workers in Seattle that have been losing their jobs to minimum wage laws join them? Being out of work they DO have a head start on fasting.

"There are days where it's good and there are days where it's bad," she said about her fast. But what keeps her going is knowing that she's fighting for something just as critical to her survival. It is disheartening to see the parade of "give me more" stories, where even a tenth as many "help me do better" tales would have a higher impact.
She demands more, but without finding a way to balance the scale with her own effort. Fasting does nothing to help her cause - and likely has hurt her work as a McDonald's cashier. But, she FEEEEELS like she deserves more, so...
