Giffords Family Collection on display at Arizona State Museum

The majority of the art was collected by Gloria Giffords, former Congresswomen Gabrielle Giffords mother, who says she hopes people will see the art as an inspiration.

Hmmm. Anybody think former ass-tronaught mark kelly-giffords might be eyeing some of the pieces to trade up for some more "for elites only" firearms? You, my friend, not so much. For the elites, meh. Is there per chance a picture of nature in action when his daughters dog jumped the seal pup in Cali? Prolly not.

I am reminded of a number of years ago going through an index of New York Times articles dealing with the pet subject here and one was from about the mid 1980s discussing Handgun Control Inc putting up a public display of art done by John Lennon.

I know what sort of mindset we are dealing with here, but still it really takes your breath away what these people will do to get an audience and to that audience via that exclusively emotional level.
