Heavy – Freddie Gray, who died a week after suffering injuries while in Baltimore police custody, had a lengthy criminal record, mainly for drug-related offenses, according to state court records. Police claim he was “involved in criminal activity,” prior to his arrest.
Gray, 25, died after spending seven days in a coma as a result of injuries he suffered while in the custody of city police, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Not all of the arrests led to convictions, in many of the cases he pleaded guilty to one charge while the others were dropped. Details of when he spent time in prison were not immediately available. The one thing I haven’t seen is how he sustained the injuries of which he died. Was he fighting the police when they arrested him? I want to bet he was injured by the force needed to subdue him during the arrest.
Again, if the police tell you to do something, just do it.
Of course, not engaging in illegal activity is good, too.
Arrested for what? They refuse to say why he was picked up.
What in the world does his rap sheet have to do with the circumstances of his death in police custody? I don’t think there’s any dispute over whether he should’ve been arrested.
If he was in jail, like he should have been, he’d still be alive.
I assumed he was arrested. Like I said, nobody has said anything about it.
But judging from his record, it was only a matter of time.

So he was a drug dealer, that pretty much sums it up and is likely why he ran. I want to know what caused his death and regardless of what his record is, once he was in custody it his personal safety is the responsibility of the police force.
I’m sure Martin Luther King would proud.
My guess is while raising hell in the van, he probably fell and hit his head.
I’m still trying to find out why he was arrested.

A distinct possibility.
Nothing between ‘08 and ‘12 - probably incarcerated
