Out of respect for the owner I don't debate it.
It would be nice to see more people respect the desires of the owner.

Yes he is. So there, I won the debate.
This is pretty amazing that Ted Cruz could get both the Conservative/Tea Party vote as well as the Libertarian vote. Were he to accomplish this, he’d have a dominant path to the nomination, and I would put states like NV and IA which have divided GOP and Libertarian fractions over the past 8 years that kept the party from winning them, into his column.
I have a hard time trying to see how those RuPaul nutcases (sorry, I’ve watched those guys behave like liberals for the past 8 years) would be drawn to Cruz. Sure, on the fiscal side and just about everything outside of foreign policy Cruz could be similar to Paul. Those were never the issues with the Gandolf look-a-like. It was always his idiotic and dangerous foreign policy that somehow was the left to Obozo.
Cruz will take the steps necessary to defend the nation against all enemies, using military force if that’s what it takes, while repairing the relationship with one of our closest allies (Israel) that’s been damaged by the current administration. Given the lib nutcases that supported RuPaul, I find it hard to understand how they could support Cruz.
But it wouldn’t be the first time this dilema has happened. Neal Boortz likes to bash social conservatives and pleads with the GOP to toss the social issues out. But he loves Ted Cruz, and Cruz is about as one of strongest social conservatives out there. Maybe he just believes Cruz is more intelligent to not make a dumb statement like Aiken or the guy from IN, I don’t know.
But if Cruz gets the Tea Party conservatives, along with the libertarians, he’s on his way to victory.

Hah!
Post 5 was deleted. But even as I’m in after the deletion, I know what kind of crap was posted.
“I like Ted Cruz, but....”
Freepers have already been zotted for this kind of agit-prop. More will follow.
he said Cruz wasn’t natural born, and I gave respect because I am new and he was here from 1999. But I love CRUZ!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I got the gist of what he said by all the other replies to his remarks.
You may be a newbie, and he may be an old-timer, but do not give respect to anyone when they are not just wrong, but are likely making a statement to create discourse and friction here at FR.
The fact that Cruz is a NBC and is Constitutionally eligible to serve as president is a settled issue. But some trolls and losers (even from ‘99) want to stink up the truth for some unknown reasons.
That’s why the post was deleted. If he keeps up his agitating - HE will be deleted.
I figured HOW COULD HE LAST that long saying stuff like that unless he knew what he was talking about and was onto something lol. my bad.
I’m no mod, or even a spokesman for FR. But as I see it, Only Jim Rob can zot a long time FReeper. And he has, he does, and he will.
Plenty of long time “concern trolls” get the zot on a regular basis.
Weird things happen here.
(lolol)
the only thing I have to confess is that I don’t find Walker all that exciting, but I’d vote for him
But Cruz, he says what I think, and unabashedly!!
I hope Cruz, or someone similar, stays in to destroy the republican establishment. The republicans need to nominate someone to VOTE FOR, not someone to vote against. The only reason I voted for McCain was Palin, whom the establishment hated, and Romney because I hated Obama so much. There were ZERO reasons to vote for (my voting life) Bush1, Dole, Bush2, McCain, or Romney. Just against the other guy.
Cruz seems like a decent man with good intentions. I think well suited for nomination as AG in the next administration if the republicans can defeat O’Malley.
Settled in the mind of some maybe. Unknown reason you say? It's called defending the Constitution, which is the mission statement of Free Republic the last time I checked.
