We all have a stake in reducing violence (barf alert)
Milwaukee J-S ^ | 25 apr 2015 | Tom Barrett

Last Sunday, I attended the wake for Archie R. Brown Jr., who was gunned down after tragically hitting and killing 2-year-old Damani Terry. Later in the week, I attended the wake for Terry, his 15-year-old brother, Rasheed Chiles, and their uncle Ricky Chiles Jr. I saw two families who were absolutely devastated by a horrible accident and senseless violence.

As a community, we must do more to reduce the epidemic of gun violence. We are all affected and it's going to take all of us to make real and lasting change.

I will continue to advocate for common sense modifications to our state's laws to make it harder for criminals to carry and use guns. Opponents to any changes in state gun laws like to say," the problem isn't guns; it's the criminals who use them." If they really believe that, then why aren't we making it harder for criminals to access firearms?

Disarm all black males 10-45. Violence will then mirror that of Switzerland.

... the wake for Terry, his 15-year-old brother, Rasheed Chiles, and their uncle Ricky Chiles Jr.

Hizzoner neglects to mention that "uncle Ricky" killed himself several days later, surrounded in a motel in Chicago, after killing his two nephews.

No, you actually have to start when they are children, and raise them to be mindful of others and to think before they act.

No amount of trying to disarm those who have not been properly socialized as children is going to prevent them from acting out. The problem really is the person, not the weapon.

Classic liberal solution to any problem - our methods didn't fail (for the last 50 years), we just haven't tried hard enough.

The left is evil to the core and wants to disarm law abiding American citizens in an attempt to bring in martial law to America under a king the politicians approve of . The world has change drastically for the worse in the last decade and tyranny and bloodshed is on the march.

"disarm all black males"

It's a start. But that won't stop violence from blacks. Quite a few people, white and black, have been seriously injured or killed by mobs of black youths armed with nothing but their fists, shoes, and clubs. Beaten, stomped, kicked, bludgeoned by black youths.

What is needed is a strict curfew on young, black males. Groups of more than two should be outlawed. And much stricter punishment for offenders. I mean physical punishment. The Black Klan currently terrorizing cities across the nation has to be stopped.

One sure fire way to make it harder for the criminals to access firearms is to lock the savages up! Instead, your county DA and the lily-livered judges they purchase continue to cut these animals loose with a hug and a kiss so they can wreak more havoc on the streets, all the while the DA rampages around the state terrorizing political opponents.

Of course, we all know Barrett's and Chisolm's goal is not to end the violence committed by their voting bloc. Silencing political opposition and disarming the people is what they seek. Tyranny never changes in that regard.

Yes, and that's the only answer. Humans must be taught how to love and respect others. Absent that teaching, no laws can make a bit of difference.

Perhaps the Mayor wants to bring back the Black and Slave codes which forbade people of color from owning or even touching a firearm.
