This gave no addition power to any government.

There is something called laws that for some reason you cannot be rational about.

You seem to throw all forms of ‘higher govt’ into a basket and want the smallest form of govt, what you describe could be as small as a few people, hey maybe just one( yourself) to decide policy and make laws.

I call that anarchy. we have a system in place that, if executed as intended, works just fine. The problem is we are electing non-Patriots to positions of power(Obama, Reid, Boehner,Pelosi) who do not follow the law.

TH problem is not on the system of govt, but on the people being selected to run it.

Your solution should give pause to anyone as it will cause massive confusion.

No, I am not opposed to laws at all, but they should be at the appropriate level of government. Read up on Subsidiarity. Our entire Constitution was founded on this principle, small Federal government and more government at the State and local levels.

What you are proposing is using the largest unit of government for expedient purposes apparently without concern that that same larger unit could also turn against your interests and the interests of the greatest possible freedom for all. Things that should be handled at the local level should be handled there. Obviously there are things that are more appropriately handled at the State level and some (far fewer) at the Federal level.

It’s a hierarchal system. These are the basic principles of our Republic.

I have proposed nothing but following the law.

The us constitution says nothing about localities, just states and federal.

You are one who is distorting.

How can giving higher levels of government more power

There was no change to the power the State Government already had. We are the Union of States, not a Union of Municipalities. That power already exists at the state level. Our founding fathers set up our system of government that way and it has continued with the growth of the union.

Municipalities and other local governments are subject to state law. Which is mostly a good thing here in Texas. Your mileage may vary.

Have a great day and God Bless.
