Incompetence, Mismanagement Plague California’s Obamacare Insurance Exchange

California’s health insurance exchange, established under the Affordable Care Act, has been held out as a national model for Obamacare. In some ways—not all of them good—it is. Whether it’s falling far short of 2015 enrollment goals or sending out 100,000 inaccurate tax forms, Covered California is struggling with its share of challenges.

Now, several senior-level officials integral to the launch of Covered California—who enthusiastically support the Affordable Care Act—are speaking about what they view as gross incompetence and mismanagement involving some of the $1 billion federal tax dollars poured into the state effort.

‘Somebody Must Have Been Smoking Something’

Consultant Aiden Hill became a “foxhole convert” to Obamacare in July of 2010 when he lost his insurance, had a serious medical issue and couldn’t get a new policy.

“Incompetence, Mismanagement.” This is the new motto for the state of California, ruled by none other than a senile Moonbeam old fart, and a RAT controlled legislature that has no clue, and no intention to make anything better. The state is doomed--they have killed the golden goose.

Any wonder why so many States did not set up Obungler Exchanges and now are sueing?

I'm an un-educated average citizen, but I saw this coming. Any legislation that is passed in the middle of the night without ANY support from the opposing party was doomed to fail from the start. Do I have that wrong?

Pelosi's photo-op of her symbolic gigantor gavel for ObunglerCare is partly what doomed their party to irrelevancy in the last 2 national elections. The Dims just plain over-stepped their "progressive" progression to pure socialism/communism.

Maybe Hillabetch can go moderate in her dumb ass "Scooby" tour and fool some LIV again with her BS. I'm starting to think not with all the crap that Obungler has put on this country.

Just need to get rid of more RINOS and put a true American in the Oval Office and maybe we can turn things around, even though the "progressives" say that's going backwards.

I'm SO good with going "BACK" to what made this the most free, prosperous, and successful nation in history. I'm also good with going "BACK" to the values/virtues/standards/ et al of a bunch of old white guys in wigs who made the USA the envy of the world which so many nations have emulated. The world is a better place because of those old farts.

Side note: The Fedgov should stop subsidizing colleges/universities that indoctrinate our youth with their socialist/communist/Marxist/sexist/racist propaganda. That is the root of our problems.

Want intellectial source?: Robert Bork's book, "Sliding Towards Gomorrah". It's old, but still relevant and explains why the hippie culture came about and why they have corrupted our culture and our Nation.

Bork wrote of “Slouching.”

I’ve long suspected that out and out medical welfare would be cheaper and less harmful than this farce that strangles the golden goose before trying to make it go further than any goose has gone before.

My mistake and good for you to know. However, got the Gemorrah word correct...I think. Anyway, the book is still relevant and explains why our culture started to disintegrate and why it continues.

Robert Bork was highly schooled, informed, wise, and was a legal scholar who advocated the judicial philosophy of originalism for the Constitution. But he was too much so at the time and the socialist Senate filibustered him into oblivion if I remember correctly.

Someone please tell me why Reid and his ilk can change the Senate rules to their advantage, but yet our new majority Republican Senate have gone back to the old rules?

Yes, I've hear the excuses that Republicans want to play fair or that they are of same "good ole boy club" and don't want to be excluded from the parties. I just don't buy either. I personally think that they are gutless and have loss their willingness to fight because the Left has better talking points and too many "gimmes".

Why the RINOs think they will gain votes from playing nice is beyond my comprehension - the Dim socialists don't ever play nice. Hell, they have a handbook from the communist Saul Alinsky that they use every day to denigrate everything that America used to stand for.

Why can't the Pubbies come up with their own handbook with talking points? There are countless examples as to why conservatism/capitalism works and why socialism has NEVER worked. Maybe I should write such a handbook with talking points that uses Alinsky's points against him.

My only hope is with the new out-spoken Conservatives in Congress. Whether Walker or Cruz, I hope they give Hillabetch her past due. Jeb Bush will NOT be the nominee no matter how much money he raises from the stupid Republican party donors. My bet is on Walker, although I would prefer Cruz. Walker has a resume of success; Cruz only has his great rhetoric for now.

Rand "isolationist" Paul, no way. Christie has zero chance because he is simply unlikeable. Trump and Huckabee are a joke. Who am I missing? Oh right, Santorum. Trump has a better chance than that flip/flop has been.

I bet you would find the same incompetence and criminal behavior in every government program.
