Sustainability is a perfectly good word and we should not allow it to be co-opted by the climate alarmists.

Humans have always had to live sustainably or perish, regardless of the climate at the time. We’ve always adapted to whatever the climate was at the time. Human societies which did not adapt or live within the means available at the time did not survive. That’s what sustainability is. Live within ones means and adapt to changing conditions.

Our national debt is unsustainable.
Our level of personal debt is unsustainable.
Our levels of immigration are unsustainable.
Our levels of money printing QE is unsustainable
Putting more and more people in areas where there is little water is unsustainable.

Take the word and use it often to point out what real sustainability (and unsustainability) are.

“SUSTAINABILITY” .. OR AGENDA 21.

In the community next to the church I attend; they would be subjected to taking new residents which do not fit the current community: Seniors. They would be required to have YOUNG FAMILIES WITH VERY YOUNG CHILDREN, IMMIGRANTS (WITH NO PAPERWORK); ANIMALS; ETC., ETC., ETC.

So those who have retired would be required to give up their quiet senior community, and become like A THIRD WORLD CITY (community).

Exactly. The word sustainable does not just refer to environmental conditions. This is a very useful word. I use it all the time to point out that what many promote politically is UNsustainble.

They already did move on. It’s “climate change”, not global warming. As if the climate isn’t supposed to change.

How about we cede the ‘Global Warming’, ‘Climate Change’ argument and cut to the chase with ‘Entropy Justice’ ? This should make everyone happy and most probably, 100% of scientists will fall in step. This will also allow taxes to be raised significantly more because it’s only fair.

"They" will never admit failure.

Nope. They'll just change the label. It was Global Cooling. Then Global Warming. Then Climate Change. Next up - Global Sneezing; and it's all mankind's fault. Should be named Global Idiocy.

Interesting because I’ve been a fan of “sustainability” in terms of don’t soil the bed.
