I don’t entirely buy into that. Plenty of people enjoy seeing churches get damaged, more than you may realize.
Most of Hollywood is a bunch of remakes. They ran out of ideas, or can’t figure out how to market some ones that while unoriginal, need some spin. Even when I watched Korra, the show was cheaper than dirt (no offense to the guns and ammo mag) but the main character had about no challenges, it was teaching entitlement to children.
There have been cases of it going on with European Churches with regards to vandalism in a sexually explicit fashion. So it’s possible.
