Making a quick stop to check out the latest.
Hmm…did anyone notice that there are no lines
on Rt. 1 in Afghanistan (Last photo)? LOL.

Ok, for all you dog owners,
I saw on the news this morning
that there is a dog flu going around in the midwest.
Now, I don't know if it's coincidence or not,
but our son's dog has been having diarrhea
for the last few days, and yesterday
our dog had the runs. So, I've been cleaning up after them
for days and YUCK!
We're on the East coast, so it may be here already.
Be sure to use plenty of disinfecting wipes after cleaning up.
(humans can get it from them and so can other animals)
Plus, I read that you can give them Gatorade
to keep them from becoming dehydrated.

Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member.
There's always plenty of conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.

Robins are back always a welcome sight. Yesterday a Woodpecker came to the suet. This woodpecker was Brown and a good size.

We have seen the Downy’s both large and small.

Hey, I sure hope both of the dogs are better soon…I’m tired of cleaning up after them (I’ve had to help with son’s dog when he’s running late). I just read up and found that this very contagious flu is definitely on the east coast.

We are starting off with sunshine this morning. I’m going to sneak out in a bit for a walk down by the stinky Potomac River. LOL

I had a biscuit and some grits this morning, and Chinese last night (and leftovers for today’s lunch), so will need to walk some of it off.

It's going OK.

The trash man just came by and picked up the trash. I had an old piece of carpet that ended up getting mouse infested. I put it in the garage. Yesterday evening I took it out and used my bare hands and some scissors to cut the carpet in half and finally fit it into the trash can.

It took a few minutes and some hard work but finally was able to get rid of it.

Been planning on getting around to it sooner or later. Sooner or later was yesterday.

Needed to do this to give the garage more space.

Going to try to use the Drill Press that was Dad's, to make holes to reattach two separate cooking pan handles.

First the Drill Press then the Pop - Rivet Gun.
