The tombstone of Hillary Clinton’s father, Hugh Rodham, was knocked over in a possible case of vandalism, police in Pennsylvania said Tuesday.

Scranton Police Chief Carl Graziano said someone reported the stone had been disturbed at the Washburn Street Cemetery on Tuesday morning, according to a local report

I will fully admit that when it comes to politicians, especially Democratic ones, I am jaded. That being said, the first thing that entered my mind was what a wonderful way to “put poor Hillary” into the victim category. The article states the stone was knocked over (vs smashed) and didn’t mention if any other stones were also knocked over. Call me suspicious, I guess.

Scranton is overwhelmingly a Democrat city which pulls their lever in roughly the same proportion as Philadelphia.

They had a sweet little racket going on here for years where a judge was sending kids to juvenile lock-up for penny-ante infractions such as truancy or underage drinking.

After an investigation much longer than necessary, it turned out that the owner of the lock-up, who was able to bill the county roughly $350 per day for every kid in lock-up, was very close friends and a big campaign contributor to the judge. Needless to say, both were active in the local Democrat Party.
