President Barack Obama's top adviser, Valerie Jarrett, went around the table and kissed reporters before an interview this morning on MNSBC's Morning Joe. The moment was briefly captured on live television before the network cut away to a commercial break.

I really don’t get the hugs and kisses between friends that the wealthy seem to do in public. This is extra icky and inappropriate due to the situation, but you see it all the time with politicians and movie stars.
I have very close friends, and I have never, ever kissed them on the cheek. I’ve given hugs when a friend is going through a particularly difficult time, but not every time I greet them.
