The fight to redefine a McJob is heating up.

Protests for pay of $15 an hour and a union for fast-food and other low-wage workers are set to take place around the country Wednesday, marking the biggest effort yet in an ongoing campaign by labor organizers.

The Fight for $15 campaign is being spearheaded by the Service Employees International Union and began in late 2012 with fast-food workers. Since then, organizers have used the spotlight to rally a variety of low-wage workers, including airport workers and home care workers. On Wednesday, adjunct professors will be the latest to join in the demonstrations, which organizers say are planned for more than 230 U.S. cities and college campuses.

The answer to THIS is simple.

BOYCOTT (as far as possible) the products and places where the minimum wage is increased.

Well seeing as most of them want this and most of them eat this crap and junk then let their hours be cut, lose their health, and pay 5 times more for their junk food.

No need to boycott. People who patronize these places will no longer be able to afford them.

Fire them all and rehire others simple. Want a $15 hr job go find one and get hired. Cant find one get training or go back to school and learn a good paying trade. Minimum wage is just that a stepping stone to the workforce not a life long career.

How is this $15.00 an hour wage doing in Seattle? Are these companies hiring? Has productivity improved? Have employee attitudes improved? Is business up?

The Fight for $15 campaign is being spearheaded by the Service Employees International Union and began in late 2012 with fast-food workers.

What are these employees offering to improve productivity and sales to pay for their demands for increased pay? Are they that much of a low information, dumbed down worker, that they have no concept of basic economics and cause and effect?

Where do they suppose the extra money will come from? Do they expect the company to somehow pay them from their "obscene" profits? Do they have a clue on the business risks and efforts companies exercise to make a profit at all?

Clueless, selfish, and mean spirited unions have destroyed many companies.

95% of these protestors have never worked for minimum wage and never will.

They are communist agitators, traveling from protest to protest, whether the protest is for increasing the minimum wage, against cops shooting black criminals, for rent control, against Exxon, for solar power, against white urban mayors, for gun control or against the G8.

This is the culture that spit out Barack Obama onto the national stage. They are "community organizers" tasked with getting the "community" to disrupt American society. A great day is when they can gin up a riot, burn down a few businesses and get the tear gas flying.

The stooges they've actually sold on the cause de jour will be the ones who get billyclubbed, the professionals will be back in their comfy corporate hotel room by that point.

Yes, it’s death by a thousand cuts to America, or put another way, the left is using the Alinsky tactic of setting fires so fast we can’t keep focussed long enough on one to put it out before 6 more have been set. They know exactly what they’re doing.

Yup-and that is why “O” is NOT a leader and can’t succeed as a President.

If nothing ELSE, he ought to be able to claim American is no worse for his time in office. He can’t say that.

We are NOT in the same place AND we are not in a better place but rather in a worse place.

“O” is an absolute failure as a President and as a ‘leader’. He’s always going against proved, required and familiar protocol JUST for attention . His ‘policies’ are arbitrary, reckless and inconsistent. He’s basically shooting craps with American prosperity, freedom and security.

“Only the guy who isn’t rowing has time to rock the boat.”
