If you haven't done so already, please call your Texas House rep and ask them to support the pending Open Carry bill. The vote is tomorrow!

This is probably the best we can get from the legislooters this session, as long as Strauss remains in power. I’d still prefer Constitutional Carry. I’m disappointed in the Texas legislature, as always.

I The bill sounds helpful and we support it but no license permit or fee should ever be required to execrcise our Condtitutional rights. !!! Texas can do a lot better than this

Rights aren't earned. God gives them. The Texas legislature is off on a wild tangent with acting like a right is a privilege.

Call 'em and 'splain 'em. I know I will, and have. And I will continue working for Constitutional Carry.

True dat, but it's a step in the right direction, if passed. That bum Straus has got to go.

Agree, but this at least moves the ball in the right direction. Think yardage. We'll get there.

True, Johnny, but any bill that moves us a little bit closer to constitutional perfection is worth supporting, in my book.

It takes us one step closer to a constitutional carry. This is a pretty big step.

It has already passed the Senate and we’ll take open carry to start. Gov. Abbott has already said he will sign this open carry bill.

If my state rep doesn’t vote for it, I’ll run against him.

Again.

Yep. He stated some months ago, that he would sign an open carry bill, or a constitutional carry bill - whichever one hit his desk.

Texas is stepping in the right direction, and that weasel Joe Straus had better not even think about standing in the way!
