Cruz is expanding his outreach from Christians (at first) to include conservative Jewish voters. He will leave no stone unturned to lock up the social conservative vote.

Bad news for Ben Carson and Mike Huckabee...

Just hope he doesn’t change his message for the “moderates.”

I hope he goes after the Indian vote & contributions, as well.

Funny, I never hear how much it costs for obamba to go golfing at posh resorts or how much membership fees are.

I think he’d be well respected there.

Cruz does not change his message for anyone.

Remember when he was boo’d and walked out on a “Middle East Arab Christian” group because they did not support Israel??

I suspect (hoping) that Sheldon Adelson will ultimately back Sen. Cruz. - Uncle Shelly can match that $31M SuperPac by himself.

As to the comment above, about Sen. Cruz “moderating” his views— respectfully, never going to happen. He believes what he believes.

And, he was honest with a group of Iowa farmers who were hoping he’d back a continuation of the ethanol program, when he did not intend to do that.

Carson might not go much further personally as a candidate, but that is not the only helpful voice he can have in this campaign. Not so sure about Huck, but Carson seems wiser than Huck.

Yep.

I think we have the real deal in Cruz. I don’t agree with him on everything, of course. I support him 100% right now.

Adelson always wants direct ROI. The best he could do is have his pack just go after Jeb without strongly backing any individual candidate. I suspect Adelson could like Jeb Bush just fine, unless he were convinced that he couldn't win the general election. He strikes me as a would be Rubio guy.

You are correct. With Cruz, you get what you see. He’s as honest as they come.

My one and only conservative friend in real life advised me not to look for the perfect candidate — because there isn't one. So I look for the candidate whose values and beliefs are closest to mine. I think Ted is the one.

What does Fox care what the cost is? If you can afford it in the Obama economy you should be applauded not accused. Sounds like he got his money’s worth.

Just for perspective, the cost is not so outrageous when you consider it covers 9 days, fully catered strictly Kosher for Passover meals, religious services, Torah lectures by world renowned Rabbis and many other amenities for orthodox Jewish clientele. It’s not cheap, but it’s not like people are paying for he privilege of meeting Ted Cruz or jus for a weekend at a fancy hotel

Every time Huckabadabingbadaboom picks up his gee-tar, I have to change the channel.

Dr. Carson needs to keep it real as he would make an outstanding Surgeon General. A perfect fit, IMO.

If Ted Cruz can syphon American Jewish leaders away from the Dems, the dam may well break on that constituency.

It does seem kind of biased of the news report not to point out that this is basically a nine day Jewish religious retreat during a holiday with special requirements.

Which is exactly why it makes sense for Ted Cruz to be addressing it. These people are not casual about living their faith as they understand it. And they have clout.

Big-time Jewish donors like Sheldon Adelson, William Kristol,
Paul Singer, Seth Klarman and Irving Moskowitz have indeed been trending more and more Republican.
