While his administration announced efforts to highlight links between climate change and its impact on health, President Obama delved into his own family's personal medical history in an interview Tuesday with CBS News, touching on his daughter's early struggles with asthma.
"I've seen how scary it is when your kid comes up to you, your four-year-old, and says, 'I'm having trouble breathing,'" the president told CBS News' Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Jonathan LaPook.
"Malia - early on, when she was young - had asthma," Mr. Obama explained. "And we had to go to the emergency room once. We had good health insurance, and we had the capacity to really knock it out early, so that over time, she was able to not have to carry an inhaler around."

How about doing an expose’ on the impact you and your crap administration has had on the health of everyone else’s health?
Well, a greener earth means more pollen and (by conventional wisdom) more allergies. Globull warming isn’t needed for that.
Every word out of Obama’s mouth raises the truth or lie red flag.
A few years ago when we were in the ER with a grandson, the child in the bed next to his had had a severe asthma attack. His first. The nurse asked his parents if they were smokers. When the replied that they were, the nurse snapped “Well you just quit smoking. Both of you.”
Obama has sujected his daughter to second hand smoke the whole of her sixteen years.
She is not asthmatic because of ‘climate change’.
Sounds like they stumbled on a CURE FOR ASTHMA? Another breathtaking (no pun intended) accomplishment for the WON!
Yeah, global communism has a lot more deleterious effects on general health than global warming.
Well heck yeah. Who needs a greener erf anyway? Oh. We do. Seems to be beneficial to food production whereas if we can finally “control” the weather we can cool things down. Now we just need to “control” that several million degree erf’s core. Still waiting on algore to find a cure for that. As to allergies, could it be that they are up because kids don’t play outside all day until the street lights come on and everything MUST be sanitized? I don’t know. Just a guess.
How about the “effect” Obamacare has had on the health of the rest of us? For those out of work? The “death panels” for seniors? The convoy?
And he thinks we should give a $ h!+ about HIS personal problems?

There’s some medical buzz that suggests what you suggest. Oversheltered kids come down with allergies to more things, possibly because they don’t have as much of a chance to become acclimated to mild and moderate exposures of those things.
Just when you think he cannot get any lower.
Looks like a scenario into which he gets to fold a begged question.
It is about him all the time.
You have to hand it to him; I’m not an especially religious person, but his ability, like the proverbial Satan, to shape- shift, to lie against previously-made statements, to swear against previously declared interests, to renew interest in what he has previously shunned, is something that I have never seen before. He’s phenomenally gifted if I can use that word. That so many blindly think he is wonderful despite generally horrific results just proves it more, to me.

I’d blame his smoking for his daughter’s breathing problems. Shame on him.
