Thanks Ansell12.

I think it’s fair to say you have a point. I’m still not convinced there aren’t this many women out there that would love a pay-day enough to make false accusations.

As I said, it doesn’t look goof for the man, but then we haven’t seen anything in court yet.

There will be plenty of time to talk candidly after their charges and his defenses are aired.

As for Bill Clinton, his actions did take place over decades, in different states, against multiple women, and he even beat at least one of them severely. So I’m not convinced Cosby outranks him.

I will say about the fraternity, it is the same in that folks had already written the fraternity off as guilty for months. They weren’t.

How many rape, drugging/rape victims and sexual assault victims of Clinton’s have come forward, and how many out of court settlements with a woman who filed a police report of him raping her, has Clinton made?

Cosby seriously outranks him as a serial rapist, and you really should quit trying to bring in that fraternity, it is silly.

Ansel12, you may not like it, but Bill Clinton was a serial rapist. He lost his Law License due to perjury in the Paula Jones case.

What the heck is wrong with you?

As for the fraternity, they were charged with something and it turned out not to be true.

If you wish to ignore these things, go ahead.

As for settling a case, people who are high profile sometimes do this to avoid a drawn out public embarrassment even if it’s not true.

What’s silly is arguing over this.

If Crosby is what they say he is, it will be proven and he’ll pay for it. I fully support that.

What I don’t support is Bill Clinton raping and assaulting women and getting away with it

You are the one so passionately and strangely defending Cosby, by repeatedly wanting to compare him to that fraternity, which is rediculous and obviously a tactic.

I asked you question that you won’t answer as you defend Cosby, instead you brought up a case of Clinton exposing himself to a woman and sexual harassment issue.

How many rape, drugging/rape victims and sexual assault victims of Clinton’s have come forward, and how many out of court settlements with a woman who filed a police report of him raping her, has Clinton made?

Yes, I do defend people who haven't been convicted.  That's all I'm doing here.  I also stated that it didn't look good for Cosby, and by inference implied it looks to me like he is guilty at this point.  If that is ridiculous to you, I think you have a rather low threshold.

Obviously a tactic?  Ansel12, good grief, get a fricken grip.  For four months that fraternity was considered by the nation to be guilty as charged.  Right now you view Bill Cosby the same way.  And yet you see no similarity at all between them.

If Bill Cosby is guilty, he'll likely get what he deserves.  I'm all for it.  Why is that so objectionable to you?

I asked you question that you won’t answer as you defend Cosby, instead you brought up a case of Clinton exposing himself to a woman and sexual harassment issue.

If you can't remember any more of the Clinton (rape / assault) cases than this, then I can understand why you don't have the capacity to grasp this comparison.

Are you now attempting to say that none of the women who claimed to have been raped by or assaulted by Clinton were believable?  Seriously?

How many rape, drugging/rape victims and sexual assault victims of Clinton’s have come forward, and how many out of court settlements with a woman who filed a police report of him raping her, has Clinton made?

And how many cases against Bill Cosby were there before a year ago that we knew about?  These women didn't come forward because Cosby was such a well known individual.  You don't think a sitting governor or president might be seen to be equally or more of a well known person, and have a lot of power to boot?

LOL, when you are losing it you start going with colors and your nonsensical irrelevant to the thread posts, start getting longer and longer.

Your defense of Cosby is evidently to just hijack the thread.

And how many cases against Bill Cosby were there before a year ago that we knew about?

Fifteen of them, two police reports one in 1998 and one in 2005, and an out of court settlement on a drugging/rape in 2006 that brought forth 13 of those victims who were willing to testify.

Your tactics to defend Cosby are so shallow, that it should embarrass you.

Not even close to being true, it hasn't even come up, or been mentioned, except by you.

What I asked you, and I will quote again, ""How many rape, drugging/rape victims and sexual assault victims of Clinton’s have come forward, and how many out of court settlements with a woman who filed a police report of him raping her, has Clinton made?""

Cosby is in the dozens of rape victims including a police report, and a settlement on a rape.

Surely you know...it's not about guilt or innocence, but the seriousness of the charges.

Due process is unnecessary where guys are concerned.

I've never quite understood how getting your ass handed to you would be less objectionable if colors weren't used to make sure it's easy for  folks to know who said what.  All I know is that when folks feel they're losing, they zero in on the text color and try to make it the issue in part.

FAIL

Your defense of Cosby is evidently to just hijack the thread.  My defense of a man who hasn't been coinvicted of anything yet, is just that.  It's not too difficult to grasp if you can read and grasp reality.

And how many cases against Bill Cosby were there before a year ago that we knew about?

Fifteen of them, two police reports one in 1998 and one in 2005, and an out of court settlement on a drugging/rape in 2006 that brought forth 13 of those victims who were willing to testify.

So the answer is zero.  Those police reports were not common knowledge to the public.  So in theory only, we could have known of four, not fifteen.  We didn't know about the 13 more than a year ago.  There were only four on the record.  And what happened to three of the four cases?  They were never brought forward to trial.  If they weren't, then there must have been a reason.  Did the police have problems with those cases?  I don't know the anwer to that, but it seems likely.  As for the settlement, that could be an admission of guilt, or it might not be.  Either way, it doesn't look good for Cosby.

I'm not sure you are willing to discuss this matter reasonably.  I'm not saying things that are untrue.  I've seen people come foward to say a lot of things in my life.  Sadly, a lot of them were untrue, or extremely slanted versions of the truth.

Your tactics to defend Cosby are so shallow, that it should embarrass you.

Since I have readily admitted it doesn't look good for Cosby, and that I think it looks at this point like he is guilty, I'm not quite sure how you see that as a defense of him.  Your, "Oh, so you think it looks like he's guilty, well damn it, quit defending him like that!" comments should embarrass you.  Evidently they don't.

This was my first post on this thread.  I don't think the comments were disruptive, and they certainly weren't defensive of Cosby.  In it I stated it was looking pretty bad for Cosby.  Ahhhh, you diagreed with that?

Beyond that, I touched on the sadness I feel that leading Black men don't set better examples for Black youth.  Why you decided to go postal in response is beyond me.  You and I agree on a number of points here..

Like I said, the more you start laying on nonsense, the longer your posts get,and the color comes out.

So the answer is zero. Those police reports were not common knowledge to the public.

More lying, actually we knew about at least 13 of the victims back then, it was all news back in 2005 and 2006, you really think the media didn't report on the Cosby scandals and accusations and court settlement? They did.

How many rape, drugging/rape victims and sexual assault victims of Clinton’s have come forward, and how many out of court settlements with a woman who filed a police report of him raping her, has Clinton made?

CBS ByJENNIFER HOAR AP November 8, 2006, (excerpts) "Bill Cosby settled a civil lawsuit filed by a woman who said the entertainer drugged and sexually assaulted her at his home outside Philadelphia."--"The federal judge presiding over the case earlier denied Cosby's request for a gag order and the plaintiff's request to shield the names of a dozen other women who say Cosby assaulted them."

There are 3,500,000,000 women in the world.

If one out of every 100,000,000 women think it’s okay to lie to get a chunk of Cosby’s $400,000,000, you’ll get what we’re seeing.

He could be a rapist, or he could be getting screwed.

In Cosby’s case, it is unlike he said/she said cases, the pile of evidence against him is incredible, and pretty much undeniable.

Notice that he has no defenders, and no defense?

He could have been destroying these women over the years, instead he hasn’t, and he also doesn’t have people coming forward to say how unbelievable all this is, the people who know him best, are silent.

Sure, all these women, some famous and rich in their own lives, and many in their 60s and 70s, are all lying in this vast conspiracy covering so many decades and diverse women.

Why doesn’t he just destroy their claims, for instance their time lines and what city it was in, why did he already settle with one of them?

I didn’t say anyone should imitate anyone.

You stated in your original post that young Black kids might look up to and imitate Cosby, Obama, Barkley.

I say that I have never seen a young man of any race try to be like Cosby, Obama, or Barkley.

They do not dress like, speak like, nor act like these men. Right or wrong, and I will agree the president leaves a lot to be desired, he largely conducts himself in a professional manner (suits, proper speech, etc) as does Cosby and Barkley. I do not see any young people trying to behave as a professional politician, actor, or commentator. Most dress in a clownish style, speak something other than proper English, and act like professional buffoons as do most adults.

Most kids want to dress and behave like wannabe gangsters and are upset when they are accepted as such and are treated as those on the fringe of the law. The will never dress or speak like Obama, Cosby or Barkley.

I sort of like people dressing and behaving like clowns, self mutilating with tattoos and piercings and speaking poor English. Never before have questionable people been so clearly labeled and joy of joys it is a self imposed labeling. No scarlet “A”s or purple or yellow stars, or branding imposed either by law or society. People are reverting to a native/animalistic mentality and marking themselves. Sadly they seek to do the same to the environment and deface public and private property.
