Traditional marriage only is now outside the Overton Window. The ideas that are outrageous today will be common fact in the future due to the Overton Window.
Abandoning traditional marriage is also a popular opinion among the many liberals here at FR.

In another move signaling his alignment with the homosexual movement, Bush has reportedly picked Tim Miller, “one of the most prominent gay Republicans in Washington politics,” as his communications director. “
