Jeb Bush’s Deep Ties to Hispanics Show Even in Voter Form
NY Times ^ | April 6, 2015 | Alan Rappeport

Mr. Bush, a former Florida governor and likely presidential candidate, was born in Texas and hails from one of America’s most prominent political dynasties. But on at least one occasion, it appears he got carried away with his appeal to Spanish-speaking voters and claimed he actually was Hispanic.

In a 2009 voter-registration application, obtained from the Miami-Dade County Elections Department, Mr. Bush marked Hispanic in the field labeled “race/ethnicity.”

Fine. If he bows out gracefully and campaigns for the GOP ticket, then a President Cruz or Walker can appoint him ambassador to Mexico. Or Columbia.

Maybe the form is a forgery. I remember the 2000 election where it was reported that the Miami Dade county election commission was 100% Democrat and was responsible for the butterfly ballot that allegedly confused so many voters.

This article is a direct/indirect upon Ted Cruz and if you read between the lines, the NYT wants Hispanics to believe that Ted Cruz is not Hispanic enough and should look at Jebby.

Does anyone seriously think he was pretending to be Hispanic? I don’t want him either but typical left wing “story”. IMO the story is meant as a cover for fauxcohontas.

The leftists are trying to split the votes anyway they can and this is just another one of their ploys. Why else would it just come up now, eh?

Mmmmm....I just can't wait to see what that revelation does to Jeb's poll numbers.

If he wants to be a Mexican President, he should move to Mexico.
The rest of us do not appreciate the effort to move Mexico here.

Bush drank champagne as Terry Schiavo was starved
to death, as in any Crematoria.

but, Bush is an Indian, too.

By being BOTH Indian (Apache?) and Hispanic,
Jeb Bush has a chance against .... Warren.

Well, it seems as though he’s got a definite lock on the Hispanics within the Chamber of Commerce who might vote Republican on a sunny day.
Why is he even in the race??? It will be interesting to see the paltry percentage he racks up in the primaries.

So, looks like Jeb’s campaign is based on winning the support of RINOs, useful idiots and unsophisticated hispanic voters.
