Actually, Obamugabe received the “prize” because of the “peaceful tranfer of power” inherent in his campaign strategy...

Sure. He accomplished nothing and helps fund future Iranian foreign adventurism.
Of course he’ll win.
To: PROCON
What's to stop them from just giving it to the Iranian guy?
Assuming the whole deal hasn't blown up by then.

By the same standard, Quisling should have won, too.

Did Kerry ever release his DD-214 form, or other proof that his discharge from the US Navy was honorable? This goes back to his presidential campaign ... the campaign where his media friends accused those opposed to him (especially former military types) of Swift-boating him. * Good question.
* I pinged a FReeper who might know the answer.
The DD214 posted on the Kerry campaign site in 2004 had a number of discrepancies, including a Silver Star with an impossible "Combat V."
After the election, Kerry did a limited release of a DD214 to three friendly media outlets. Among them, if memory serves, were the LA Times and Boston Globe.
There is circumstantial evidence that Kerry's original discharge from the Naval Reserve was other than honorable, but no definite proof has been found.

Thanks.
Kerry is always going to be questioned by fellow veterans because of his past lack of telling the truth and testifying to Congress against the Vietnam War.
A Silver Star?
Bullshiite.

Kerry was awarded the Silver Star in Vietnam. However, Silver Star awards, unlike Bronze Star awards, never include a combat “V” for valor.
