The popular online home-rental service Airbnb will allow American travelers to book lodging in Cuba starting Thursday in the most significant U.S. business expansion on the island since the declaration of detente between the two countries late last year.

Just don't go to Cuba folks. Obama wants to coddle dictators like the Castros and the Mullahs of Iran and Obama HATES men like Bibi who embrace liberty and freedom.

Cuban private sector? LOL!

Castro Bros. take everything and then give a pittance to the "private sector" as they see fit.

No internet, no phone, no cell phone, no TV...not a single luxury here on Fidel's Isle.

It’s OK if the government gets its (big) cut. In fact, maybe the Cuban government has encouraged the whole thing!

“How can they call the Castro’s ,the island’s small private sector,LOL”

That means that they have to:

1. Use dollar-denominated pesos,
2. Castro gets his cut of the profits,
3. You have to pay Castro for each employee work permit.

Not necessarily. Many Cubans already open their homes for travelers to pay & stay with the full knowledge of the government. The govt does not care so long as they get their cut. At least in my limited experience, the people who rent their homes keep meticulous records to keep the govt off their backs.

Do the people dying to flock to Cuba realize that Cub imprisons gays and persons who speak out against their government. I guess that does not matter because Castro and his ilk are Republicans or conservatives.
