I hope practice makes perfect...or at least easier!

Once we figure out the solution, it will be great! I will feel that she is safer when I'm at work. Each time she tries, I'm standing right there just in case (and I was needed a couple times), but I can't help her figure out the best way. Her knees cannot be counted on to behave the same way from time to time.

Today I introduced her to the lever that turns the seat first 45 degrees and then 90 degrees from the front and center. She is getting the hang of going thru doorways. I'm real proud of her as she keeps at it, however long it takes. I've done it too and it's a bit tricky with only a couple inches clearance on each side and figuring out how far out to come before turning, while trying not to scrape the back wheels on the doorway or wall.

Well, an hour later, I'm back. She needed rescuing....her knees locked up and she had nowhere to sit...she was parallel with the wheelchair. I got the walker behind her and eventually one knee unlocked enough for her to sit. She is now safely in bed and I'm beat.

Spring is well underway.
All of the early ground dwelling flower species are out on display.
The Hawthorn blossom is out, and the Nut Tree Catkins have been out for several weeks.
Looks like winter gave up early this year. Not a drop of Snow in this area all winter.
I'm guessing your snow is still up to the tops of the Lampposts. :)
The Sun has come up for the day , heavily guarded by Low clouds.

She’s home now, but still in a lot of pain.

Bless your heart and hers too. The fact that her knees lock is making it tougher than it should be. I hope for your peace of mind, you both find the right combination. I wonder if a person from one of those places that sells or rents them, or a physical therapist would have any ideas.

We are indeed! The only criticism thus far is that the pressure through the system is a little low, so it takes a while to fill a glass. I think the knob for the cold water is not fully open. I'll check that when I get back this afternoon. Otherwise, it's great.
