Many Americans work hard. And many Americans are desperately looking for jobs.

So what if some immigrants work hard while they case places for home invasions? I know of a family whose home was burglarized by the Hispanic painters "working hard" painting the house across the street. "Working hard" or "wanting a better life" can apply also to bank robbers and is no excuse for breaking our laws.

Re: “The vast immigration from Latin America, mostly from Mexico, between 1982 and 2007, is over — at least for now. Net migration from Mexico in 2007-12 was zero, according to the Pew Hispanic Center.”

That is an extremely misleading statistic.

It includes ILLEGAL Mexican immigrants, who primarily come to the USA for work.

Because of the Great Recession, more illegals returned to Mexico during that period, and fewer illegals came to the USA.

In terms of LEGAL immigration, Mexico remains the largest source country, by a wide margin.

In 2013, the most recent year for final statistics, Mexico accounted for 14% of new Green Cards issued.

They why is spanish printed on so many things? Go to Home Depot or Lowes, go to the supermarket, just about everything you pick up has spanish on it. And try making a phone call without having to select English.

You and I know what this pap is.

Barone just trying to soften up the obvious catastrophe that he and others babbled would be so great for us.

The takeover is happening in the California Legislature and the FBI can’t arrest corrupt Mexican politicians fast enough.

Bell Gardens, the city of Bell, Calderon, De Leon...the list is endless.

And gonna get worse. They’ve only just begun.

There will be no police force large enough. Or even honest enough: note the LAPD rookie busted the other day as a homicide suspect.

One of the world’s largest police forces - now 44% Mexican, up from 0% in 1945 - will become just another Mexican Mafia enforcement gang.

Barone tells us this is wonderful for America - based on what? The evidence of all the successful societies in Latin America?

That’s where “success” means that they have at least moved beyond subsistence lifestyles, into merely bandit societies. Desperation being a normal situation, unless leavened by gringo welfare.

That is what will really be something to see. Millions of additional people here but no jobs for any of them. My Grandkids future doesn’t look very bright from what I see going on now.
